He'd just lost his best friend. Judging from how he reacted when he saw Gyatso dead Aang doesn't take loss well.
Apparently not.
Bolin should be the one who joins the police force He's already an earthbender, and he and Lin could have their own corny B grade cop show
I would much rather prefer him and Lin stopping that car of bad guys and say "Looks like you got car trouble." instead of Mako, suits Bolin more and he has become a failure of a comic relief last season.
Apparently not.
Are you like, dissapointed from a cartoon characters behaviour? really?
He'd just lost his best friend. Judging from how he reacted when he saw Gyatso dead Aang doesn't take loss well.
Aang is pretty much Anakin when it comes to loss.
it would be sad that bolin sacrifices himself to save both the spirit world and the normal world. Also if you say bolin and lin very fast you get bolin-n-lin
Are you like, dissapointed from a cartoon characters behaviour? really?
No, i'm disappointed at how the writers handled it.
No, i'm disappointed at how the writers handled it.
Realistically? This is an example of good writing, not otherwise, showing strong emotions is part of being human and to emphasize how upset aang was for losing his friend. You expect the writers to make him calm and nice to everyone after a loss of a close one? that would be terrible writing. You might as well be "disappointed" by how zuko changed his behaviour from an evil dick to a good guy after choosing sides.
Zuko was hilarious when he was trying so hard. Hey everybody. Zuko here!

There was internal conflict over several episodes, so I could actually follow his progression towards being good. In Aang's case it's like the writers showed up to work and just decided to make him act like an ass. You can't portray Aang as the compassionate, wise, and honest hero for half a series and then expect me to understand when he becomes none of those in the span of five minutes, and without any previous indication that he could lose it like that. On a completely different subject, does anyone have experience with Amazon Instant Video? Watching Korra on iTunes for Windows, there's a lot of video judder and it bugs the hell out of me. I'm considering re-buying it on Amazon, and I'd like to know if the judder is just an iTunes thing or if it'll be present on the Amazon downloads as well. Or the Zune marketplace, for that matter. At least then I can download episodes to my Xbox or something.

At least then I can download episodes to my Xbox or something.
You completely ignored what someone has stated before, Aangs behaviour after seeing gyatzos remains was somewhat the same, a loss of a close one tirggered anger within him. His behaviour after losing appa was in character. again, if this is anything then it is an example of good writing, keeping the hero "compassionate, wise and honest" for the whole series would make him a flat, one sided character, if that is what you like in your main characters, I can't do anything to change it then. Another thing, Aang also acted like a dick when he didn't pass that note from their father to Katara and Sokka just because he felt like he was going to be abandoned(?) or something.
All main characters from the Avatar: Last Airbender series have at some point shown their worst sides. Katara was selfish to the point of justifying theft of something she wanted, Sokka was sexist and pessimistic, Toph was spoilt, selfish and lazy, and Zuko betrayed his uncle for some figment of glory. Aang not being able to cope well with loss is relatively innocent (although he's also shown to lie to get what he wants). Stuff like that makes the characters interesting and three dimensional. They're not perfect, but they learn over the course of the series. Aang even learns to let go of people at the end of that very season, several episodes later.

Holy fuck that finale. Jesus with the [sp] dogs and the murder suicide. [/sp]
Lin should teach Korra how to Metal Bend
Meelo should teach Korra how to fart bend
Bolin better learn Metal bending.
is there a way to watch any of the original series online? does nick have some kind of online streaming thing that i can watch them on? I haven't seen them in ages and just finished watching season one of korra and now i want to rewatch TLA.
I watch most of my anime here: http://www.kumby.com/category/avatar-episodes/page/2/ apart from Sword Art Online cuz this site is slow at updating, usually half a day behind everyone else.

Was i the only one that found it hilarious how the mechs have tracks on their feet? I can imagine the testing phases of previous designs: "You know what? Fuck this, making them walk like bipeds is too hard, let's just slap some tracks on their feet and call it a day, i bet amon wont even care"
They posted a higher quality version of the 'NEW FRIENDS' image on their Facebook a couple of minutes ago.
I didn't notice, but Asami might be left handed.
I bet Asami is going to keep that glove. Its good for fighting.
Bitch gon' go turn into an equalist ya'hear.
I'm interested to see what will happen to all the people who lost their bending and if the show will continue straight after book 1 or do a bit of a time skip.
Didn't they say it's six months later?
I'm interested to see what will happen to all the people who lost their bending and if the show will continue straight after book 1 or do a bit of a time skip.
I think Korra would do her avatar duty and give all the benders back their bending.
I think Korra would do her avatar duty and give all the benders back their bending.
She also might choose not to give back bending to people like the triads. That could be a story dynamic about whether to give bending back to all or some. But somehow, I don't think the second season will touch on this much.
