I doubt it will be addressed in the Promise, but I hope Toph makes up with her parents. :( On the subject of The Promise...does Aang/Katara calling each other "sweetie" creep anyone else out? I've always hated that phrase. >:(
"OOGIE!" [editline]29th March 2012[/editline] Actually, I don't mind it as much. The other characters in the book react to it about the same as I would, so it's not like it's just thrown in there at random.
my favorite song from the series so far. Also I think it would be cool if Hama passed on her bloodbending techinque onto corrupt water benders which found a way to drain someone's lifeforce into water and get healed from that water like a vampire, like a reverse healing water. Then the bloodenders get caught strengthening the anti-bending movement.

I cannot wait for the Promise part 2. The ending of part one just gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah Also, I hope they use these to finally explain what happened to Zuko's Mom.
I don't know what the current popular theories on who Amon is but I was reading a couple of things on the Wiki and have to come to the conclusion that it could be Aang and Katara's son, Bumi. He's the only non-bender in the family which would be especially tough with his father being the avatar so he could very easily harbour ill-will towards bending in general. Feeling left out in his own family he could spend more time with his uncle Sokka. With him he could gain knowledge of technology through Sokka's inventions and he could learn chi blocking from Suki and the other Kyoshi warriors after they were taught by Ty Lee. He is the only character I can think of who has the motive and the means to start the equalist rebellion. Of course it is unlikely that I'm right but it is fun to speculate about it.

I just thought about it a few seconds ago, and I'm like "oh my god, that's a crazy idea, but it could be true!" You listening? Ok, here goes. MAYBE IT'S A FUCKING ORIGINAL CHARACTER.
I doubt Amon could be tied to the Aang Gang, I'm sure someone who fought alongside the Avatar would gain respect for benders and wouldn't let their descendants harbor a grudge
It could be but that is not as fun. Also, what would the point of putting a character in a mask be if there was no shocking reveal later in the series?

Maybe he was disfigured by a bender, which would be cause for his hatred of them
I did not read through the whole thread, but can somebody explain me this?
Korra is a rebellious 16 year old girl from the Southern Water Tribe.[2][1] As the Avatar, she has already mastered Waterbending, Earthbending and Firebending. She will learn Airbending from Aang and Katara's son Tenzin.
I thought a new Avatar only arises after the previous one has died? Howcome there is 2 of them alive at once?
I did not read through the whole thread, but can somebody explain me this? I thought a new Avatar only arises after the previous one has died? Howcome there is 2 of them alive at once?
I think you misread, Tenzin is the child of Aang and Katara
I did not read through the whole thread, but can somebody explain me this? I thought a new Avatar only arises after the previous one has died? Howcome there is 2 of them alive at once?
Aang is dead.

Oh, i thought it said Korra learned airbending from Aang AND FROM the son of Katara, instead of "She learns airbending from the son of Katara and Aang"
Oh, i thought it said Korra learned airbending from Aang AND FROM the son of Katara, instead of "She learns airbending from the son of Katara and Aang"
Title fits :v:
Hey, it's a common mistake?
She will learn Airbending from Aang and Katara's son Tenzin.
Even though people have said it often enough. (About the title)
I hope we get to see Aang as a spirit guide to Korra, like Roku was to Aang.
I hope we get to see Aang as a spirit guide to Korra, like Roku was to Aang.
I thought that was pretty much confirmed at one point or another. But I'd have to dig it up somewhere. It wouldn't make much sense not having that. I mean, it was quite an integral part of Aang, being able to discuss his actions with other avatars. Though I guess this will only happen late in this series, since Korra has problems with the spiritual side of being an avatar. [editline]29th March 2012[/editline] Also, the airbender in the intro is Aang, so they have him in there.
I'm pretty sure that there is no way Amon is Bumi. He is the son of the cabbage guy. Plus isn't Tenzin Aang and Katara's youngest son? Amon is definitely not older than Cave Johnson-- I mean Tenzin.
I'm pretty sure that there is no way Amon is Bumi. He is the son of the cabbage guy.
There is no other possible explanation, he is pissed at the avatar for constantly shitting on his father's cabbages
If that's actually who he is I will SHIT BRICKS
Bolin is very Sokka-ish.

Maybe if the power to remove bending doesn't just fall into the bender catagory and if this masked figure is really Aang's son then maybe his endgame is to remove all the bender's powers in the city.
Already told you who Amon is... See my above posts
Already told you who Amon is... See my above posts
Amon is a past version of Spike Spiegel.

wait thats a reference reference to what?
