I hope the Phonograph Merchant is the successor to the Cabbage Merchant.
MY PHONOGRAPHS

Maybe he'll appear later in the series.
This place is worse than Republic City!
I bet Amon is the cabbage merchant's son. That's why he hates benders so much.
Or maybe he's the cabbage merchant. Think about it.
Must be pretty damn old then.
Cabbages are the key to eternal life.
Live it up guys because you only leaf once.

I'll take cactus over a leaf any day :v:

Thanks!
Who were the benders in the old series' intro? I can never tell for some reason.

From memory it was Azura, Aang, Katara's waterbending master and some random rockbender.
I remember recognizing Aang, and I assumed Katara's waterbending teacher as well. I thought the firebender was supposed to be Zuko, but I guess it could be Azula too.
-snip all wrong-
I thought they were the previous three avatars and the current one.

Nevermind

At least for Legend of Korra it looks that way.
It is. In the new intro it's Avatars Kyoshi, Roku, Aang, and Korra.

In the Last Airbender/Legend of Aang it's Master Pakku, Sud (Roku's earthbending teacher, also Toph's original design before she became a girl), Azula and an unnamed air nomad. It also has Roku doing all 4 types of bending.
I just assumed the airbender was Aang.

Aang doesn't have a moustache.
Then Netflix does a shitty job streaming. I can't even tell there is a moustache there.
This is a little off topic but I needed to tell someone; I just ate the tiniest, most ripe strawberry I've ever had. It was so good I almost regret eating it. But to remain on topic...

reminds me of the some lore in Dragon Age 2. (long sotry short) guy ate best sliver of apple ever, regrets it because he spent like all his money on it and everything else depresses him, because they fail to live up to this apple.
I hope Korra take her adventure outside of republic city a couple of times, maybe to meet the turtle lion and learn bender bending.
Energy bending
Energy bending
Nope. Sorry. It's official. Bender Bending it is.
Nope. Sorry. It's official. Bender Bending it is.
What are you talking about? It's Energy Bending.
Energy bending
Meanwhile in some fanfiction: Shadow bending, light bending and god bending
Cabbage bending is superior to all all other forms of bending.

My cabbages!
Ass bending. Those asses don't jiggle on their own you know.
Calling it now: Amon is a bender in disguise using the revolution to forward his own agenda, and Korra will successfully reveal this mid-way through the series after Amon's forces have gained wide support and have taken Republic City. Even if finding this out, his loyal supporters won't care since they, non benders, have majority control. Then, Korra and friends will have to battle their way to Amon, defeat him, and break apart the revolt.
