I am kind of disappointed with the new style they went with, it's such a huge contrast to the old show, and I don't like the new narrative style they use.
The characters' dialogs sound like they were written by the family guy author.

Blood benders could easily rupture a blood vessel, but I doubt we'd see anything of the sort on Nickelodeon
Bloodbending seems kinda contrived to me. Blood is 90% water, seems to reason an average Joe waterbender could bend blood.

blood bending was in the first series and chi vampires are rooted in chinnese folklore.
Also bloodbending can be only done so far during a full moon.

Katara does it in the first series to get water out of Aang, it can't be THAT hard.
Most water benders wouldnt even consider or even think about blood bending. That old ctazy lady did it to survive and crazy shit. Once you know how to do it yiu can never unlearn how.

[sp]i think they just removed one of the gangs. The alliance is made up of multiple gangs. If anything i see the triple threat working with the avatar to help fight against the equalists[/sp]
