So, has Amon taught his anti-bending skill to anyone else? Or is he planning on removing the bending abilities of all benders by himself? If so, I don't think he quite understands the logistics of stoping every bender in the world.

Does anyone find it wierd that it seems any fire bender can generate lightning now?
Before it was only Azula, Ozai, and Iroh that could do it. Not even that Jeong Jeong guy could do it. Now you see people in factories doing it.

Well it was all in technique, once you get it out anyone could do it with practice. Plus Zuko seemed to be a pretty progressive guy, once he saw how electricity could be used I'm sure he'dwork on getting it out there.

Not surprising seeing how like metal bending Toph was the only one able to do it, in 70 years later, alot of people can do it.
I don't think Amon's plan really is to have an equal, non-bender only world. I mean, once everyone becomes a non-bender, then they will all find other ways to do the things they did when they were benders.
This whole "everyone should be a non-bender" reminds me of that one scene in the Incredibles:

I don't really like the opening. In the Last Airbender, it pretty much explained the entire plot and conflict, but in Legend of Korra it just tells you the Avatar is the only one who can master the 4 elements and bring peace, which I guess is an explanation but not a very good one.

In the first series the goal and background were quite clear from the start. Fire nation is bad, Avatar was gone but is back now and needs to learn all the bendings.
In the new series the whole story isn't quite so clear. We've got a bad dude and an Avatar. We're still finding out about the bigger picture.
Atleast, that's my take on it.
Oh, that's the case? I haven't watched the series yet but I read on Wikipedia sort of the plot and thought that was sort of it.
