How about we stop talking about it and wait to see what actually happens. THEN we can all gush, I know I will.
For all we know he could've lied and just put a temporary block.
I'd say he might even be faking it if Bolin wasn't there

Honestly, and I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but this series and the one before it has got to be the greatest, most well-written kid's show to ever air on Nickelodeon.

I think it's one of the few cartoons with an actual plot, not just a once an episode problem. But that's just scratching the surface.
What if it's all a trap where Amon really wants the powers of the avatar and knows how to energy bend through mastering all the points in the body, but knows either a bender or only the avatar can have that ability to activate the transfer of power. So he'll do what he can to make her believe that the only way to stop him is to energybend and with that overcome her and gain the avatar powers.
Far fetched I know.

guys maybe he just has really strong influence and delivers the biggest ever placebo effect :v:
I have a sinking feeling that Amon is going to show up on airbender island when Korra's not there...

I have a feeling Tenzin would utterly kick his ass.

You know, the more I think about it, the more Zuko/Katara makes far more sense than Katara/Aang.
Holy shit Zuko is still alive

Wait where did you get that info from?

That's what they say on the nick.com game Welcome to Republic City. They say Zuko is still alive, although retired from his position as Fire Lord, passing it down to his daughter. He is now an unofficial ambassador trying to solve peace around the world.
I heard that this new series is going to be very story driven in almost every episode; they are going to have little to no filler. Can anyone confirm or deny?

I wouldn't be surprised, since they've only got 26 episodes to work with, all of which have been written and animated.
EDIT: This is interesting... Apparently, Aang and Zuko had a bit of a falling out over the Harmony Restoration Movement, which was the withdrawal of Fire Nation citizens from Earth Kingdom Territory and disbanding of the Fire Nation Colonies. Zuko learned that one colony, Yu Dao, had become tightly intertwined with the Earth Kingdom citizens there, and they had even intermarried. Zuko saw that removing the Fire Nation citizens from the colony would ruin their way of life, and began to oppose Aang's Harmony Restoration Movement. Aang reluctantly entered into talks with the Earth King to change the guidelines behind his plan.
Looks like he wasn't as perfect as we would like to think. Also, I advise you all to play the little click-through game on the website.
EDIT: Satomobiles, produced by the Future Factory, have a lower-cost alternative: The Cabbage Car. Yeah... Cabbage Merchant got rich after people stopped breaking his stands. Founded Cabbage Corp.
That little interactive tour on the nick website was surprisingly informative. Everyone should try it.

I was on an Anime site a couple years back, and someone was like "I prefer Avatar in the original Japanese"
Rage ensued.

Ha, because it's an American adaptation of a Japanese art style... Heh heh.. Woo.
And it's based on China
Animated by Koreans
So apparently Amon's identity got leaked... I dunno, this seems kinda far-fetched, but looks real enough...

Looks obviously faked in the attempt to make Amon Aang's nonbender son Bumi. His voice sounds too young to be him anyway.

Amon has golden eyes. This person has blue.
Also...
[sp]It could be a dream sequence for a future episode. Doubt it though[/sp]

plot twist
Why would a non-bender have air bender tattoos?
