Currently the only way we are getting episodes beforehand is stealing them off nick.com, which uploads them a few days in advance.

That's also one of my favorite parts of the episode. Hiroshi Sato could prove to be some great ultra-serious comic relief in future.
Sato seems like a really cool guy. I look forward to seeing more of him.

So how do they plan on taking the bending away from every bender? Even if they take it away from every current bender new benders can still be born.
Baby benders don't exactly pose a threat. They'd just screen for bending ability.

How about you just do it prophylactic for everybody and if somebody complains about it being tedious or police state like you just point to the alternatives of (initial) civil wars and (eventual) world wars brought on by benders?
Also, again asking for this thread's opinion, how far could Amon go with his war on benders before the show gets too dark in tone for you? Burning down places of knowledge? Separating kids from their parents to re-educate them? Summoning the Third Reich and treating (ex-)benders like second-class-citizens? If the authors weren't restrained by nick or whoever, how far would you want or expect them to go before reconsidering what you're watching?

I would probably enjoy it more if it got considerably darker, as long as there was still some humor involved. I wish they could get it off of Nickelodeon but I think too many of the viewers are 6 - 12 year old kids that probably wouldn't follow it to another channel.
