korra really wasnt trying to use Bolin, she saw him as a friend who she can have some fun with while he thought it was a romantic deal. If anything he was a rebound guy since she felt like she needed something to take her mind off getting rejected, so why not have a few nights out of town with bolin snd chill.
I just want an episode were Bolin loses it after getting screwed over so much. Maybe Lin teaches him some kick-ass earth/metal bending. I mean he gets kidnapped trying to help them earn some money and almost gets his bending taken away, getting used by Korra to make Mako jealous, gets his heart broken after he seeing Mako and Korra kissing even when Mako is already banging Asami, has to take on the former champions on his own while Korra and Mako sort out their shit and in the end gets friend zoned.
korra never used bolin, at first she was hesitant to go out with him in the first place, he was sort of a consolation boyfriend to get her mind off mako.
Shame this is a short series, so they had to cram in so much in one episode.
I liked those "peaceful" episodes in the original series, where the original gang wasn't busy kicking ass.
its funny how in the last series the gang basically kicked everyones ass, like aang was taking out several firebender ships in the invasion of the northern tribe yet korra and everyone else is getting their asses handed to them constantly.
Oh wow, didn't know they could rush through that many romantic character development of all 3 main characters in just one episode.
But here we are.
At least it was entertaining.
Man this is pretty good I'm not sure if I like it more than the first though, there haven't been enough episodes to tell.
I really like the series so far. I'm genuinely surprised that it has maintained the same charm and quality of the first.
Are we allowed to discuss downloads on TPB about LoK?

I'd wait for the episodes to be released just in case.

I love how they actually made him bawl instead of turning into a fit of rage.
Bolin is the only character that can make you cry, go d'aww and then "oh man i feel bad for him" at the same time.
For those first few seconds you feel so bad for Bolin. Then he starts bawling and runs away.
Also when Mako and Asami did the nose thing.

Is this a love quadrilateral?
Is this a love quadrilateral?
yeah, tenzin gets nozin out of this, where's his love.
yeah, tenzin gets nozin out of this, where's his love.
He's got Pema. They have lots of love, as is evidenced by their four children.
firelord... uhh zuko's dad was more of a hitler.
Sozin was hitler
He's got Pema. They have lots of love, as is evidenced by their four children.
Maybe he just married her so that he can pass is lineage down, while he's looking for his true love. Go on Tenzin, don't give up on your dreams!
On another note, If Amon is Aang's son then maybe his story of the farm and the fire bender that took away his family and his face is a metaphor of the air bender nation genocide.
The farm was his culture and people which were spiritaly based like a farmer connected to his land, the firebender was the fire nation which look his people aka family, and his face which is his idenity and that idenity close with the air bending nation.
Then his motive is to remove all bender's powers is to make balance in the world which he believed his father failed in establishing a balanced future without airbenders. Such a possibility could support the lines, "the sprits told me that the avatar has failed", which wasn't to Korra but to Aang.
Also I read somewhere that all air benders in the air bending nation where air benders because of their close spirital connection, if that's so then could Aang's non bending son be an air bender in secret?
Is it entirely impossible that Amon actually just made up the story of his family being murdered for his big speech? We only heard the story when he's speaking to a crowd that he's trying to rally behind him, and I mean, political leaders lie all the time to get a crowd on their side.
It could be possible he's just a mad man trying to justify his genocidal plan.

Could be, but knowing the writers it's probably some sort of "technical truth" that will make sense in greater context. Like him actually leading the attack and not caring the target village included his parents or some stuff (just an example, I got no reason to believe this is the case).
This episode seemed to be restrained by the writers' time budget very much (of an episode and the total amount of episodes they've got). They did an excellent job with what they were given, but a conflict that has been set up over multiple past episodes can't suddenly reach its peak and resolve in a single one for me. It just throws off the pacing. Maybe they'll pick it up again and this was just supposed to show the team goes through thick and thin in more than one way, but for the moment it just feels kinda rushed.
I also felt like they could've let the drama linger for a bit more until it was dissolved by comedic relief in the scene with Bolin getting wasted on noodles or something. Not even sure if his "baaaw ;_;" face was supposed to be genuinely sad or overplayed for comedic effect. I think they could've used the character that's always quick to crack jokes and lighten the mood to point out he's the real joke or make his humor turn darker for a while.
I wonder if the writers didn't want to include another angsty minute of if it's about the channel's image and that of the airtime right before Spongebob.
Also somebody proposed Amon taking Tenzin's airbending away. I think that would be awesome from the perspective of how many possibilities that would give the plot to change direction, including not only Avatar business, but also the political power struggle.

I just want to know if the other woman was a bender so he left her so that he could always have kids that were air benders. Hell people are already shipping TenzinxLin after this episode because of what Pema said.

I think if they had more time they would of done more with Drunk Bolin. Maybe he just would of just started using bending against Mako but it would of been interesting. Also the sorry would of made a bit more sense in my opinion.
2 actually. It was confirmed after they finished making season 1.
So, what? We're getting more than 26 episodes or is that still the deal.
So, what? We're getting more than 26 episodes or is that still the deal.
It's 26 episodes split over 2 seasons.
Season 1- 12 episodes
Season 2- 14 episodes
I just watched the first four episodes, have to say I quite enjoy it.
found out what was making the show somewhat lackluster for me.
sound effects.
those made the first show HILARIOUS for me, wonder why they cut them.
