I hope these flashbacks start becoming longer and more frequent, I'm honestly more interested in what happened to the adult Aang and such.
She's not a good Avatar yet. One, the whole needing to learn airbending thing, and two, she needs to learn the spiritual stuff. Needs to master the Avatar state too, I suppose.
She hasn't even had one involuntary avatar state yet, let alone master it. But something tells me that when Korra goes avatar state, it's going to be awesome.
Er, I'm a bit confused. Is there going to be a new episode this weekend or not?
There will not be a new episode this week unfortunately.

That spongebob is really becoming its own thing over at tumblr, isn't it?

Also yeah Tahno is an excellent example of Amon's ambition to teach jerks a lesson, but to somebody that has taken his bending as granted his entire life, and has in fact made bending the centerpoint of his life, hobby and career, it's like cutting off an artist's hand or a runner's legs. That doesn't nullify he's been a self-absorbed ruthless bastard, but that's exactly what makes his transformation so interesting, right?
Also err content I guess.

I think the gang could actually use something of an anti-hero or at least unlikely hero, right now they're all more or less goody-two-shoes with varying temperament. Maybe not Tahno, but the first show also kinda had a jerk in Toph and an unlikely hero in Zuko. At least Bolin seems to succeed Sokka pretty well. Not sure how far the writers want to go with Lin tho, I figured she's just get the occasional kickass episode and remain a side-character, but she seems to become more and more important. I wonder if they want to break the formula of the gang only consisting of teens around the same age.
but when you abuse your ability like he did, its almost like he deserved to lose the right to use it. The firelord got his shit taken away for abusing it, sure its more extreme, but thats what im getting at, you abuse it you lose it.
Ya, but where do you draw the line? All he did was cheat in a competition. You don't cut off a soccer player's leg for cheating. Well, in most parts of the world you don't.
Whoah, just watched the latest episode. It reeks of soon-to-come underground-bender-anti-government-became-corrupt-group.
Probably next season.
Wasn't that the last episode of the season?
Cause they barely did anything with Air.
Aren't there 12 episodes this season? We're only through 7 now.
That'd be such a gay cliffhanger ending no less.

;__;
Is that supposed to be Lin?
She looks older in the photo due to the hair
I believe so.
Look at the photo its her and Tenzin, also she has the Bei-Fong symbol on her shoulder.
A flying pig?
It's a flying boar
Lin and Tenzin forever~~~
Sure, Tenzin has a pregnant wife and three kids, but have they ever stabbed a giant Mech in the face? NO

The love triangle between Tenzin, Pema, and Lin is tough.
Pema is a great mother and wife but doesn't seem to do much else. Lin is a badass but also Tenzin's antithesis since Air and Earth bending are opposite. I also haven't seen a lot of affection between Tenzin and Pema really.
I hope that Lin can find someone she likes and we can find out more about Pema's background.
Also, I just thought of something.
A firebender took Amon's face.
A firebender took Asami's mother.
A firebender took Mako&Bolin's parents.
Connection?
Also I know this is HIGHLY unlikely, but who is the only person who had his face damaged by a firebender in TLA? Zuko.
Remember how in the Republic City tour there was some dispute between Zuko and Aang between what to do with the firebenders? What if that escalated into Aang having to energybend Zuko? That would also explain who's eyes we are seeing the flashbacks from.
I know Zuko is old as shit and "travelling" as a peace ambassador, but I thought it might be a possibility.

The reason we don't know much about Pema is because she is secretly married to Zuko/Amon. She is not pregnant with Tenzin's child, but with Zuko/Amon's child, and the series will end with a climactic battle between Korra and a fetus.
It's all coming together.

Baby bending... it all makes sense.
I hope we get to visit places outside Republic City at some point in the series. It's a great setting and all, but I loved all the different places we got to see in the original series. I hope Korra has some sort of pilgrimage or the likes and we get a few episodes outside the City. And I'd love to see a modern Ba Sing Se or Fire Nation Islands.
