He made what was a great deal of the show. The oxymoron of having this powerful being only a childish kid was excellent and well done. But when the avatar state came on, you knew shit was about to go down.
John Woo needs to direct an episode. Come on, you know how awesome that would be.

Wow, the Avatar world looks so different now. I sure hope I like this, it has a lot of potential.
Also, judging by the two people in that video, maybe bending isn't as common in that time as it used to be? They were pretty shocked by the bending in general, so I dunno.

benders have to be some kind of minority for a city to even attempt banning them. So most likely it has become a lost art to a degree.
Wasn't the main premise of the new show have basically anti-benders or something that are trying to eliminate all benders?

Looks more like they were just shocked to see someone who could bend multiple elements. Even if bending was still common place it would still be shocking to see the Avatar fighting some goons in the street.

I am so excite for this show. I'm rewatching the first 3 seasons again just so I can be ready for more.

I am still a bit sceptical about this and will most likely remain so until I've seen a couple episodes.
I don't think it's going to be bad, I just don't think it's going to be near as good as the first one.

Sooner than I personally had expected. Then again, I haven't really been following it to the best of my abilities.

Hot diggity, that's only four weeks from now. What a pleasant surprise.
I kinda dont want to hype it up. I mean when Avatar first came around I had no expectations and it turned out to be amazing. Now I feel like Im going to hold it up to the same light even though its going to take time for the characters to be introduced and develop. I cant wait, but the less I think about it, the better.
