I was hoping for an episode where she would meditate on those visions and stuff, but instead what I got was something way better.

He's a random guy who appears in crowds. He seems out of place and I feel he's watching over Korra.
He's really, really out of place, especially in those last few shots, as he is completely coloured and lit up unlike the other generic characters in the crowd.

My reasoning for Tarrlok not being Amon is that the few bits of skin you can see on him (around his eyes in close-ups, mainly) is way too pale. Tarrlok's got the whole waterbender ethnicity thing to deal with.
Another thing I thought of is during the first taskforce episode when Korra tries to challenge Amon to a duel. Tarrlok's talking to Tenzin about his contingency plan for if things go bad. Tarrlok would have to very suspiciously leave Tenzin to change into his Amon outfit and sneak onto the island to confront her. I have trouble reconciling all this.

Plus they've got completely different fighting styles. Amon dodges/moves like a speed skater, while Tarrlok uses more traditional waterbending movements. I guess you could say that he could know both styles and just uses one at a time to keep his identity secret; but I don't think Tarrlok cared much about keeping secrets when he revealed that he could not only bloodbend, but could do so without a full moon.

Ok so here is my theory on why i kinda think Torrloc is Amon. Since Torrloc is a bloodbender he probably knows a certain spot on the brain he puts a blood clot thing (or something that blocks) the bending power from going. And sinces hes the only one that knows where it is, nobody can undo it. (Or something like that.) I hope that made sense :v:
