I'll seriously have trouble taking Amon... serious the next time he shows up. All those jokes :v:
For me, I can separate pop-culture variations from the canon versions. I love watching Chad Vader, or seeing Darth dance or do other goofy things, but when I watch the Star Wars movies I still see him as the commanding, powerful, and imposing Lord of the Sith.

Man, that entire picture can go away aslong as that awesome elemental amalgamated heart stays.

Probably true, as soon as I hear that voice again, I can see him as a real threat again.
Done by a friend of mine:

i find it odd that lin doing things "her way" means working outside the law
SHE'S THE PERSON IN CHARGE OF THE POLICE
man it's a good thing her and toph decided to be good guys
otherwise they'd probably rob everyone blind

Being the chief of police doesn't exempt you from being binded to the law [sp]or at least its not supposed to[/sp]. I think Bei Fong will bust out the Korra Quad and possibly expose Tarrlok.
What if Amon is Yakone and this is a Father/Son operation.
What if Amon is Yakone and this is a Father/Son operation.
Yakone would be dead probably I mean Toph, Aang, Sokka are all dead, I don't think a guy who appears to be in late 40's or 50's would be alive 70 years later. Plus Amon is way too young to Yakone.
I wonder if Tarrlok has a moon rock in his pocket?
Bloodbending has made me wonder if we'll ever see some really abusive methods of bending, like suffocation from smothering someone with earth bending.

I would love to see an Airbender rip the air from someone's lungs and suffocate them that way.

I was just thinking this because Korra first had Aang trying to tell Korra through flashbacks when Amon touched Korra.

Given that it is a kid's show first, I doubt we'll see much beyond what Tarrlock did to Korra (and to be honest that was kind of creepy). But who knows, maybe whatever happened in the flashbacks forced Aang's hand to kill Yakone or, as that one theory suggests, Katara used bloodbending against Yakone (possibly killing him). I'm wondering if they'll have Korra "go a little too far" and almost kill someone (which was kind of the case with her duel with Tarrlock) only for something or someone to intervene.
Oh no
I made another one

Now that's something they might be able to pull off
I don't know if The Legend of Korra is really aimed at being a kids show, I think it was made considering that the audience would, initially at least, comprise mainly of people who enjoyed the first series. Since the first series was aimed at kids, lets say you were 10 when you watched the first season in 2005, it's seven years later, so you'd be 17. In which case, there's every reason to be a bit darker and aimed at the higher end of teenagers.

No doubt, but nonetheless, it's still catering to family friendly viewing. I expect dark material, but nothing particular graphic.
But, you never know. I could be wrong, and they may find a way to push the envelope a bit. Afterall, Young Justice has surprised me with some of the things they've done.

I'd like to share this with you. I think it's an amazing cover of "Leaves from the vine".

Yeah, Young Justice has really blown me away with what I usually I expect from a saturday morning cartoon. It has blood, a really dark episode about a guy who murdered his little sister, a hilarious incest joke, and the show is just plain amazing
Somebody's probably already said it, but I think Tarrlok is Amon
To be honest that would ruin the show for me. It's far too obvious for my liking.
The only way Tarrlock being Amon wouldn't ruin the show is if there's some better villain in the back pulling his strings but having two villains the way it is now is way better
