That's a universal law with martial arts-based movies and shows, really old people will still kick serious ass until they let themself be struck down by the antagonist while the protagonist helplessly watches in horror and swears revenge
Didn't Koh say something like "I'm sure I'll see you again" to Aang in the first series?
Well he's an evil face stealing demon. He's bound to meet the Avatar at some point. lol
Honestly, why can't Amon just be Amon?
Honestly, why can't Amon just be Amon?
Because no fun allowed.
Very ground-breaking research you did. No one has ever brought that idea up before.
Oh wait nevermind, that's from months ago. Bumi is too old to be Amon; stop bringing it up, it's annoying.
Jeez, you could be nicer.
And where do you get that Bumi is too old? They haven't stated his age anywhere. They've barely even mentioned him except to say that he exists.
Do you ever see Amon blink?
Cause I really feel like Koh is in cahoots with Amon.
Plus that would give Korra a reason to go to the spirit world and kick some ass.
My money is on Koh at the moment.
Amon is secretly the first avatar who escaped from the spirit world, trust me.
You guys pull the weirdest shit out of your asses.
You guys pull the weirdest shit out of your asses.
Trust me when I say that I am not a shitbender.
It's funny how they show'd Aang break free of the blood bending and then Amon did the same thing whilst fighting like an Airbender.
Trust me when I say that I am not a shitbender.
If you were in close proximity I would have slapped you for that.

Lets not invite that weird section of the Avatar community here.

Beg your pardon?

Muppet.
But will we ever find out if Sokka retrieved Space Sword? New theory, Space Sword is Amon..
This makes sense now since swords don't have blood. 100% Confirm.
This makes sense now since swords don't have blood. 100% Confirm.
It would be amazing if Bumi/One of Sokka's unseen children came along and wrecked shit up in the finale, uses his uncle/fathers amazing sword.
Didn't Koh say something like "I'm sure I'll see you again" to Aang in the first series?
Koh is an immortal spirit and Aang is the avatar, so it's pretty good odds they will meet again before the end of time.
Also I don't think the creators were even considering an entire new show at that point so I wouldn't go looking for Korra clues in TLA.

Apparently they did want to give Koh a bigger role in TLA, but that didn't work out in the end. Hence the "we'll meet again" quote from Koh.
Koh would certainly make a great villain in the second season.
Koh was definitely one of the creepiest things I've ever seen. Reminds me of that spongebob episode with the flying dutchman.
I've thought after I first watched an episode with Koh that he would make a great story if he went into the human world to train a new form of bending with the void of air bending present.
For the professor knowing energy bending, there's a scroll showing an image of the Lion turtle in the library, he could know energy bending if the owl had records as old as that as well as chi blocking, resisting blood bending, and reading without sun light for 80 years could make you so pale that you'de need a mask on all the time.
EDIT: Also in the last episode, how did Amon know that Korra was in a box without seeing it yet?
Crazy theory which is most likely 100% incorrect:
Did anyone else also notice that when Aang took bending away his tattoo's were glowing? Something that Amon's armor would never let be shown if I were to assume Amon could be Aang.

Aang is dead.
Amon was probably standing there listing to Tarrlok talk to someone inside of a box and concluded it was Korra inside of a metal box.
Speaking of Amon, I didn't realise his mask is similar to the lion turtle's face until now.
Aang is dead.
I know, I know, I'm just putting the craziest idea's out there.
Aang is dead.
Unless Amon is the negative counterpart to Aang as the Avatar and another force that must be balanced- bending and non-bending. Thus, divulging into themes of dualism like in Taoist philosophies and such.
Get it. yin and yAang. :zoid:
joking with coldwaves comment
no no, it's the Anti-avatar Aang (pronouced ahng) sent from an alternate dimention to use is gas bending and spiritual channeling bending to absord all the bending from this world and bring it to his own to have an army of super benders.

It doesn't really look similar at all to me.

I'm guessing he is also a robot with laser vision too?
