Funny, because a guy named LeSean Thomas has worked as a animator for LoK and The Boondocks.
That explains the similar art style.

It'd be a shame if they actually only made 2 seasons.
It has so much potential.
I really wish they gave it two more seaons,TLA was my favorite cartoon/anime series.

It definitely feels much more rushed and poorly thought out than it did in TLA. Then again I didn't think the romance aspect near the end of TLA was particularly well done either. It kinda just sort of happened and we were all supposed to go along with it, not entirely unlike what's going on with TLOK only it's taken a much more prominent standing (which as I'm sure you'll agree is not really working out too well)
I think it just needs more filler, I don't think I really "know" the characters well enough.

Some more backstory would definitely be a great filler for the rest of the episodes or maybe even a good reason to extend the show.
I've started watching TLA again, in between TLOK episodes... I need my fix damnit!
But I've noticed that the animation, voice acting and sound design etc. have all been improved a lot since the beginning.

Filler is a touchy subject, a little too much and the fandom starts hating. Too little and your characters don't work out and the fandom starts hating. I have yet to watch a show that has really balanced filler and content extremely well.
