That's just lazy.
yes it is general iroh is probably the son of Buhmi and Zuko's daughter same collar, voice is similar to zuko's (is zuko's) which was passed down from the daughter look at the picture above a few posts [editline]16th June 2012[/editline]
My theory would be that he's Bumis and <Insert Zukos daughter name here> son. But that only after looking at the comparison posted above.
he would have to be unless there's other characters that aren't being talked about, it only makes sense
Weren't neither of Katara's parents benders?
her mom was, but she had to hide it from the firebenders so she wouldn't be taken

[editline]16th June 2012[/editline]
her mom was, but she had to hide it from the firebenders so she wouldn't be taken
Actually, I think she wasn't. When she was killed by the southern raiders, she was only protecting Katara.
Yes, at least one parent has to be a bender. There aren't any airbending acolytes, if any benders at all. Tenzin and his children are THE ONLY airbenders in the world.
Oh my bad, I mistook water for air in the latest epi.
What in the fuck this was the last image on the video of episode 10 that I downloaded.
Redscout is punching himself in the dick now
her mom was, but she had to hide it from the firebenders so she wouldn't be taken
She wasn't. It was probable her grandfather, maybe it skips a generation sometimes. Awkward Pema face
What the fuck is that zuko's voice actor [editline]16th June 2012[/editline] Why would you do that, Nick? That's just lazy.
Because his voice actor is awesome.
I'm quite interested to see who the antagonist will be in the second season. Amon is pretty cool I don't know how they'll top it. Maybe Koh could work.
I'm quite interested to see who the antagonist will be in the second season. Amon is pretty cool I don't know how they'll top it. Man I hope Lin gets her bending back. :( that, or Toph shows up to save the day. Dammit, we need a Bei Fong. [editline]16th June 2012[/editline] I hope Amon's absorbing people's bending and turns into some sort of weird Dark Avatar. That would be a fun fight.
Does anyone think Asami might go back to her dad or turn against Mako later on? I've seen nothing but resentment from her toward Mako and he seems to be clinging to Korra.
It would be interesting if his Lieutenant backstabs him and takes over republic city. Gundam 00 did the same thing where a very minor character backstabs the main villain and becomes the main antagonist of season 2
Oh man that episode was amazing, although Amon was a little bit out of character with his bombings. And surprised to see implied deaths on a kids' show.
Does anyone think Asami might go back to her dad or turn against Mako later on? I've seen nothing but resentment from her toward Mako and he seems to be clinging to Korra.
I REALLY hope she won't.
Something interesting i picked up on, i recently watched the Legend of Aang Final episode again, and what the Lion Turtle said......sort of made slight sense in relation to Amon. I believe Amon is a spirit and can bend the flow of energy because he existed before the Avatar's existence, ( Lion Turtle says before the existence of the avatar they were able to bend the flow of energy within the body ) and since Aang is the only avatar thus far to have learned to remove benders bending abilities, i wonder if somehow using this allowed Amon to make his way to the real world. And since i think ( don't quote me on this ) benders draw they're power from the spirits ( or spirit world ) perhaps too much bending has caused imbalance between the spirit world and real world thus Amon seeks to restore balance by removing benders.OR! I also remember the Lion Turtles monologue when Aang removes Ozai's firebending "Your spirit must be pure or you will be corrupted and destroyed" or something like that and what if Amon was actually a person born with the ultra rare ability to remove bending who used his abilities to remove a benders bending but was "corrupted and destroyed" and became a evil spirit like he is now and linking into the possible theory i said above. Also this might explain why bending isn't very effective against him. Yeah i think i'm digging too much into this but whatever. bear in mind i'm just about to watch the new Korra episode before this so......
Yeah, I'm really hating Mako right now since he's basically pushing Asami to go evil and I don't want that to happen.
-snip- added to my above post
I still think his powers come from the mask. That it is some sort of relic from an ancient spirit. But that he is human. But what i hate the most is that we haven't seen any avatar progression. Still not a single puff of air, not the slightest bit of spirit world or avatar state. Only a flashback. i'm going to be disappointed if there isn't any in the last episode.
i'm going to be disappointed if there isn't any in the last episode.
You think there might NOT be? It's going to happen, I'm sure of it.
So Meelo finally invented fartbending. My roommate has been waiting since like the fourth episode.

[sp]spider-rats[/sp] Oh god those things exist in their world!
I don't usually like any anime, but TLA is one of the few I enjoy. One thing I never understood was WHY DO THEY ALL RUN WITH THEIR ARMS BEHIND THEM I have only ever seen one person run like that in real life. It was at the Skyrim midnight release at gamestop, and the guy doing it was a complete weeaboo sperglord.
Yes, at least one parent has to be a bender. There aren't any airbending acolytes, if any benders at all. Tenzin and his children are THE ONLY airbenders in the world.
No. Katara is capable of waterbending and none of her parents are benders.
No. Katara is capable of waterbending and none of her parents are benders.
Hmm, then maybe you can be born a bender to the parent's respective nation? Such as the water tribe or earth kingdom. Makes sense that there are no more airbenders if this is the case, as all the air nomads perished, save Aang. Also they are acolytes, but they can't bend, just carry on the traditions of the nomads. Good thing bending is like a gene rather than a specie, because if it was otherwise than airbending would be doomed due to inbreeding.
The airbenders need to get out there to repopulate their tribe.

I don't know how a person can just have bending out of nowhere, and if it comes from the family bloodline, who was the first person to get bending in the family and how? I hope we get some detail on it.
It might just be kind of like a gene and they all have one, air, fire, water, earth and possible none. Basically non benders are carriers and can borne benders? Still, you can't apply real world logic to one of fantasy, so maybe it has something to do with the spirit world and other things. [editline]16th June 2012[/editline]
The airbenders need to get out there to repopulate their tribe.
Yeah, Meelo is a great breeding candidate at this point in time.

A bender has the ability to learn any one bending type and, being born into a respective nation, learn their respective bending from other benders of the same element
Yeah, Meelo is a great breeding candidate at this point in time.
You just opened a whole new world of filth.
