I know this is way off topic, but I think the Lieutenant looks pretty badass in the exterminator suit. Also I feel bad for the Lieutenant because he just can't win. He's like the show's Krillin. I mean he can't even get a break. The one time he almost does is in the most recent episode when he first lands on the Air Temple Island and then gets his ass kicked at the last second. He did get that fire woman pretty good though.
I thought Asasmi would be a better character and not freak out over the "they're close friends" thing.
Korra isn't just Mako's "close friend", he full blown cheated on Asami with her. She has every right to be mad.
New game!
Fuck Mako, fuck him. He's fucking everything up. He ruined Korra and BoLin, now he's gonna ruin himself and Asami and make Asami go evil.
If the writers know about genre conventions they may make Asami leave and go to the equalists, but end up making her a triple agent or something.

Why did they give a honorable memorial name to the most pointless flat character
Lol instead of taking bending from people using energy bending she gives Amon bending powers and he goes crazy because he wants to get rid of it.
He'd might have to take off his mask to de-bend himself.
Careless writing for fun:
Maybe the equalists would turn on him and force him to take off his mask, and de-bend himself to prove his loyalty. (Playing on the theory that Amon steals bending). He breaks down and says he can't. That might add some more depth to Amon's history.
If Amon also loses his ability to de-bend, maybe the Equalists, those in desperation, could continue to be antagonists second season (their life problems persist with or without Amon) and will set their goals to kill all benders instead.
Are Toph and Lin the only people in the series entire series that have given last names?

Hiroshi Sato and Asami Sato.

Bloodbending best bending.

I'm hoping Korra will be the better person and point out that Mako's got Asami to worry about or something. Or maybe Bolin could knock some sense into Mako. Anything to avoid the 'obvious choice' in this love triangle.
I still found their conversation to be funny
"Can I get some hot water?"
"You're a firebender, heat it up yourself"
I read someone thinking this awful love triangle subplot was Bryke's revenge for all the people that wanted this kind of thing in the original. :v:

I really want to see someone redirect lightning in a scene as epic as the one before LOK.
So I beat the end of the little game. It was more fun than I expected even if the controls are a tad clunky.
The ending doesn't even tell if you capture Amon really. Its more of you just caught up to him and he can't run anymore.

If this was the case then bravo.

Avatar would be a lot darker if it was about equality between virgins and non-virgins.
It's funny hearing TLA in English now. Especially because the Dutch dubbing of the series was actually really good. So good that it's one of the few series that I'd rather watch in my own language than in the original English one.

I've gotten the impression that Korra's pretty much let it go and that Mako's the one still kinda pushing it.

Korra probably feels guilty for liking Mako and for the kiss. She let her emotions get the best of her and it ended up hurting someone (in this case Bolin).
Mako on the other hand is a douchebag. He kept taunting Korra with Asami and now it feels as if hes using Korra to make Asami jealous/upset because he doesn't like dealing with conflicts where he is at fault.
God what the fuck happened to Mako? He seemed like that reluctant but earnest type you'd grow to like earlier on, now he's a two-timing dickbag who's given fuck-all regard to his (ex-)girlfriend's feelings. Seriously, every bit of attitude Asami gave him he had coming.

this is an awful pageking and I apologise.
I get it that Mako's confused about his feelings, but he doesn't have to be a jerk about it.
Look at Bolin, got rejected by the Avatar, and he seems to be over it, now.

I have never felt genuine sympathy for a character until I saw Bolin's reaction to their kiss.
I'm kinda disappointed that Korra and Bolin didn't really talk about things. Korra just said "Things are confusing, can we be friends please?" and Bolin was like "Okay."
I'm currently still watching the first season (book) of Avatar The Legend of Aang but is The Legend of Korra more serious/Aimed at more then just kids? LoA felt like that they wanted to do more violent and serious stuff but it seems like they had to restrict themselves since its a kids show

Yes, it more mature. But still a kids show.

Mr. Wang Fire and Mrs. Sapphire Fire
It's amazing to me that people didn't see this love triangle coming from a mile away when Asami was shoehorned into the plot (for this very reason) way back in episode 4, and now everyone is buttdevastated over it.
It's also amazing to me that people are shocked that an eighteen year old boy is having trouble with his relationships. You people are silly as shit.
