Brilliant on so many levels (except maybe the love triangle thing...). I cannot think of anything else to say without writing a paragraph. These last two episodes were, I think, a more-or-less perfect ending. Personally, I'd be satisfied even if they didn't make a season two.

[sp]When the sacrifices were made people didn't know they could be healed at a later time.[/sp] So the impact is just as real.
If you're going to watch it for a second time it will not have the same impact as it did in the beginning. But then again, not many things do when you watch it for the second time.
Whoever the villains are in season 2, I hope they're benders.

She sacrificed her own bending to save Tenzin's family, knowing that she would never bend again. With that mindset she set out to destroy the airships. That's the hallmark of a hero in my eyes.
You need to measure the actions of people without looking at their future.

For me, i don't think any villain can surpass Amon. Way better of a villain than Ozai.
[sp]With ATLA and Korra, the main bad guys were Long Feng = Earthbender, Ozai and Azula = Firebenders and now Amon and Tarrlok = water benders and also Equalists = non benders. That leaves airbenders as a possible antagonist, maybe Spirits or Energybenders.[/sp]
I hope there is a next book. There isn't so much of a plot device to make a decent transition.
They've pretty much wrapped it up except for the relationships.
