dont call PETA I could tell you many a story about how the most extreme members of PETA do some awful shit.
Putting it down was the humane thing to do. OP, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
can you stop trying to group defend this guy. i mean, even golds defending golds have at least a spark of reason. somewhere. maybe. they don't. :smith:
The main question is why the FUCK did you throw a stump for? If you wanted to see your dogs jump over it you could of just moved the dogs next to the stump not fucking chuck it.
you are a shitty person OP never own a pet again
can you stop trying to group defend this guy. i mean, even golds defending golds have at least a spark of reason. somewhere. maybe. they don't. :smith:
What the fuck are you talking about. Shooting it was more humane than just watching it suffer. It's neck was broke, it wasn't gonna make it.
As I stated, lying was a possibility. I have not lied to them yet. I have not done anything yet. As far as they know the dogs are okay from when they checked in with me earlier today. I am just thinking about all possibilities. So far I am thinking about burying it where I planned and only telling my parents. That way they can handle it with the younger siblings as they see fit.
The dog is dead. All that remains now is for the kid to tell the truth. Nothing more need to done, stop going on about the poor dog or his lack of emotion. I had to put down my dog. I didn't feel much emotion about it despite the dog being a good family pet for many years. Just tell the parents, have yourself and them forget the incident as quickly as possible and dispose of the dog. He is not a sick monster, he is just somebody whom has panicked and is trying to solve the problem to the best of ones abilities.
The main question is why the FUCK did you throw a stump for? That was a mistake, granted, but we all make them and he's learned a lot from this one, trust me.
I had to put down my dog. I didn't feel much emotion about it despite the dog being a good family pet for many years.
i don't want to live on this planet anymore.
"oh my god what the fuck is wrong with you" yeah, you're the voice of reason here. offering a lot of reasonable and constructive insight.
as much as everybody else.
what the ufck it's not buried yet?
He needed some help, I had to run to my parent's house, I'm back now, we're about to go bury it. It's only been a couple of hours.
you are a shitty poster never post again
its been said lad
what the ufck it's not buried yet?

I agree
Then hit the fucking agree rating.
As I stated, lying was a possibility. I have not lied to them yet. I have not done anything yet. EDIT:
no, he left it on the lawn while he played tf2. don't worry, it's near a sprinkler so the maggots will stay off for a few hours.
Shut the hell up. Not funny.
Fuck the dog for a second. If you bothered reading the thread you'd realize most of this is about the OP's lack of emotion and empathy for dogs (and gay people) But please, feel free to jump on the bandwagon of "herp all FP cares about is animals :downs:" and contribute nothing to the thread. If you read the post, it's clear he feels no emotion for the dog, only the need to save his own ass. It was an accident, we understand that. I'm not going to fault him for that. It's just the lack of emotion.
Perhaps he is a bad writer in writing the OP, i doubt that he has all his writing eloquence about him while he is in utter shock, he's probably worried shitless about telling his parents and fucking horrified by the things he did in retrospect. it's not like he's going to deliberately add phrases like "oh god, and it his her head and blood when everywhere i am a monster and i am sad" i'm sure he's not stupid enough to come here and post sobs and whines all over the OP. he told it like it is, and that is perfectly reasonable. on the otherhand, it's not like he posted "i hurled a stump at that fucking stupid dog, i hated it so i shot it's fucking brains out"
as much as everybody else.
Even assuming that was the case (it's not), everyone else clamoring and acting stupid doesn't excuse your doing it.
If you don't tell your family what you did to the dog, you're selfish as hell. The best thing to do is inform the family of what happened, nothing good will come good of a lie like the dog "ran away". I may be late, because I didn't read the whole thread, but I hope you do the right thing OP.
As I stated, lying was a possibility. I have not lied to them yet. I have not done anything yet.
Sorry, but no knife can put a dog out of its misery as fast as a gun. Besides, what the fuck? I know for a fact I couldn't take a fucking knife to my dog. Guess that makes me inhumane or something.
When you don't have a gun on hand, speed is oftentimes more important then taking your time to find something potentially less painful. Would you say the dog would've been in more pain being stabbed once or twice in base of the skull, or if he was left to lay there for an hour alone as he watched his family walk away? When you see a loved one in such an irreparable condition, clearly in pain, it may tear your heart to do it but ultimately, you need to kill him/her as fast as possible. Going back to get a gun would be less for the animal's sake, and more for yours.
this needs to be stickied in DDT.
So people know how not to reply to a thread? OP, I do hope you tell your parents, because otherwise that's pretty damn cruel too.
Even assuming that was the case (it's not), everyone else clamoring and acting stupid doesn't excuse your doing it.
then get mad at everyone else.
Read it in a Russian accent and it sounds like your typical day in russia.
