I think it depends on how long you're talking about. If it's past the shoulders on a guy, it starts to get a little creepy. Shoulder-length can be damn sexy though. Girls like something to run their hands through when they're making out, among other things- and I'm sure men would too if that's the way you butter your toast, though I can't say myself.

Yea, but Im going to go out on a limb here and assume that most Facepunch posters with long hair just have it in the generic swoopy bang style, and TBH it looks like shit.

I've got long hair but our water heater is busted so I can only wash it like maybe once every 5 days when it's hot enough outside to use the water house outside heated from the sun.
I've found that if I use special anti-grease shampoo and put it in my hair first before washing my body, and rewashing at least 2 times after that, my hair will be grease free for at least a day and it won't start feeling icky and greasy for about 3-4 days afterwards. Blowdrying makes my hair last even longer but I feel like a 40 year old woman when my hair's that frizzly so I tend to pass on that.
I love my long hair though, I looked like a total douche with short hair. :frown:

I know--I actually liked how I looked like, looking back--, but my hair grows really quick, to the point that I had to keep shaving my head every 5 friggin' days...
It became a pain in the ass, so one day I said "fuck this shit, I'm growing my hair long"... it's been 19-20 months since I haven't cut my hair and it's down my shoulder blades; it grows THAT quick :D

I no longer have long hair. I had long hair for 8 years, and just cut it this past week. A whole 2 feet of hair gone.
