My hair used to be a good fourteen inches, but I cut it my sophomore year. No regrets; it looked great, but I like short hair better. Plus, since I wasn't fat, I was at the age where if you get your hair from long to short, you either look a lot younger or older.

Long hair gets very annoying very quickly.

Some people in this thread just need to realize that some look better with long hair than short hair. I used to have a buzzcut and I grew it out a bit longer, everyone tells me that it looks a lot better suited to me. Short hair does not suit every guy
