I grew my hair long last year, it was horrible since I have very slightly curly hair (you can't tell when my hair is less than 3" or so) and I looked very weird. It's also very annoying, tickles your face, gets in your mouth and food, takes far too long to dry even with a hair dryer, requires some effort to keep looking good, and looks like shit if unwashed. I have short hair again now and it's bloody amazing.

Long hair is really hard to keep, at least I find it is. I used to have long-ish hair but I cut it short a while back, and recently I got it cut even shorter.
