so ugly people arent ugly simply because you cant say "you have 8/100 handsomeness points"? i mean, come on. mr. rusty isnt an adonis, but neither is he quasimodo.
No, but it isn't like there's a quantifiable scale. Different things are attractive to different people.
Adonis has shit hair, rusty looks better than him
are you aware of what "adonis" means? its a general term for exceptionally handsome dude, no longer does it refer to a specific person. are you aware of...my dick? you should be, its rammed down your gullet.
[editline]29th October 2010[/editline] alright, ill give ya that. but i dunno, regardless of taste, some people are better looking than others
Well.... No. I know a girl who just isn't attracted to brad pitt and would rather a chubby guy. Now, I don't know why the fuck that is, but it's really subjective. Societal standards change every few years. Our tastes change. To say that one is for sure above another is frankly ignorant of human societal habbits.
the only guys i see with long hair in real life look terrible [editline]28th October 2010[/editline] also at both my high school and my college, the lead tech guys both have pony tails no they're not the cool kind of nerd/geek either [editline]28th October 2010[/editline] of course rusty looks good with long hair :gay: [editline]28th October 2010[/editline]
i just dont like long hair on guys, it looks sketch/gross
so you like it when a guy has more of a man hairstyle then

Frankly, the most manly men I know have long hair generally. Knights had long hair, they were manly as fuck. Most ancient warriors wore their hair long as a symbol of their prowess. So, long hair is pretty manly, man.
Shower every day or two with shampoo. Grats your hair is clean.
Been growing my hair out for roughly a year now. I ussualy wear it tied back with a backwards hat. suites me rather nicely. Its shoulder length right now.
mine goes down past my pecs. it's clean and straight, greasy hair can fuck off. people have said i'm reminiscent of eddy from iron maiden because i'm borderline anorexic too. Though i eat like a fucking hungry hippo
Mine is about shoulder length, it used to be longer.
Hello Facepunch. What do you think 'bout long hair? Is it hard to keep them clean and not messy? Well, discuss here.
If you're not a filthy disgusting person it's easy. It's called shampoo.
Medium hair is pretty great if you can pull it off, I managed to and it looks brilliant, one of the best things is that girls love it :v:
No, girls love the confidence, and I guarantee I walk in the room and the girls will be all over me, always happens and they always end up asking me bout my hair :argh: [editline]29th October 2010[/editline]
mine goes down past my pecs. it's clean and straight, greasy hair can fuck off. people have said i'm reminiscent of eddy from iron maiden because i'm borderline anorexic too. Ah man, I just decided a while ago that I am going to grow my hair to my ass, and be a totally fuckin' radical hippie. I've never really had long hair since I had a mullet when I was like 5. I always kept my hair short because I don't want a full blown out mullet, but my dad would say "Cut your bangs, you look like a faggot"...
I used to have long hair that I wore in a ponytail. I didn't realise I looked much better with short hair until I cut it prior to my army service.
Why the hell is there drama in this thread
Because facepunch could cause drama over whether Deciduous trees are better than evergreens.
^ agreed. Also, long hair looks great on girls, whereas short hair looks invariably horrible. On guys, it looks bad if it doesn't fit your face (e.g. you have a fat face).

Psst.

Yes, it was. These people bathed like, 5 times a year, literally. Cutting their hair was just an unnecessary inconvenience. They had the plague to deal with.
Psst. [img_thumb][/img_thumb]
Yeah, I had a bit of a brain-fart there
They only wore their hair long as a symbol of their society's fail to advance, really. ARGH AUTOMERGE.
They only wore their hair long as a symbol of their society's fail to advance, really. ARGH AUTOMERGE.
They had swords capable of cleaving through flesh and bone with ease. They could use sharpened flint to shave their heads, and there are reports that celts had proper mohawks. They could shave their heads and easily remover hair as soon as they had metallurgy sorted. http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/celts/factfile/clothes.shtml
Roman historians say that Celtic soldiers had white spiky hair. They used lime like we use hair mousse today, and sometimes they tied their hair up in a ponytail.
It's dead cells hanging from your skull. Why is this even an argument?
Ok? If they cut their hair, their society's comprehension of "style" in and of itself means they were more advanced than one that lacked that comprehension, because they were too busy trying to survive all the time. Having sharp swords and sharpened flint means jack shit in that context.
No it means that if they felt like it they could have trimmed or removed hair, it means everything because they fucking didn't remove their hair. It's the same principle as beards in the ancient world, to touch the beard of the king of a land was the highest blessing a member of the public could have. And you keep implying having long hair is somehow barbaric, I don't get how that would be so.
If they cut their hair, their society's comprehension of "style" in and of itself means they were more advanced than one that lacked that comprehension
The celts were quite aware of this, they didn't cut their hair, they gave themselves liberty spikes as a method of intimidation.
I'm implying it's barbaric because I'm (possibly incorrectly) equating it with lack of hygiene.
