I was assuming dog reincarnation
I was assuming dog reincarnation
That's the word I was looking for. Still an equally silly premise and I can't wait for the Half In the Bag episode for it.
That's the word I was looking for. Still an equally silly premise and I can't wait for the Half In the Bag episode for it.
honestly I was more thrown off by whatever the fuck Monster Trucks was instead of the Dog movie Dog movie (its called Purpose of Dogs) just looks like generic tug-at-your-heart-strings movie for families
I was shocked to discover Monster Trucks isn't an animated movie
Endless trash, brought to you by the good people at Sony.
I was shocked to discover Monster Trucks isn't an animated movie
i was shocked to discover it wasn't based on some obscure 80s cartoon
Nice to see Fuck you its Year has kept going and evolved.
I was afraid Monster Trucks was starring the Jared Padalecki from Supernatural. I didn't want his big screen debut to be like this. The Bye Bye Man looks way more retarded than Monster Trucks though. Like one of those movies made by very out of touch executives to appeal to teens. "kids still say wack, right? I haven't kept up to date on my grandson's lingo"
It reminds me of what I heard on the radio a few days ago - television is getting better but movies are starting to blow.
what the fuck is a radio
I was rather thinking about Korea, but okay. Reminder that Korea is still in its golden age of cinema AFAIK.
you realize there's also endless trash movies in any country right? just because you saw a list of recommended movies from korea on reddit doesn't mean those are the only movies being released each year.
Kingsman was a fun movie, I hope they don't fuck up the sequel
monster trucks looks like a cool movie idea ruined by child friendliness bullshit would be a great horror/action film of sorts. he has to feed people to the truck to keep it going through races and win.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/4MEgQ8X.png[/t] glad to see that they're going to be doing the same thing as they did with prometheus
honestly I was more thrown off by whatever the fuck Monster Trucks was instead of the Dog movie Dog movie (its called Purpose of Dogs) just looks like generic tug-at-your-heart-strings movie for families
I thought they were a bit to mean to this one, like, the concept makes no sense but works as a great stage to explore how different people have different relationships and expectations from their dogs. I am imagining a movie with multiple slices of life from people with compelling stories. The movie probably sucks but I can see why someone wanted to make it.
I'm assuming Dog resurrection from what I saw. Dog Jesus basically.
it's a dog that keeps coming back to life and he's try to figure out what his purpose in life is basically the book was pretty good
wait nevermind i keep forgetting what year it is
you realize there's also endless trash movies in any country right? just because you saw a list of recommended movies from korea on reddit doesn't mean those are the only movies being released each year.
What's your point? Sturgeon's Law is in effect anyway. But Korea has a higher ratio of good films per year than the USA.
-wow you snipped that quick-
yeah i meant the one from 2015 and realized the thread was for 2017
it's a dog that keeps coming back to life and he's try to figure out what his purpose in life is basically the book was pretty good
To find out who's a good boy?
I'm ashamed that I'm looking forward to so many sequels Hollywood needs some fresh air though, jesus christ. [editline]12th January 2017[/editline] I've always wondered why that is. I think its because they realize that people actually enjoy and will invest time into quality entertainment
Probably because they figured out you can keep a nearly-theatrical quality show going on for years on a channel like HBO, AMC, Netflix, Amazon, etc like Game Of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Westworld, Black Sails, Vikings, etc, etc. And streaming is now super easy and accessable. Most channels will allow you to stream shows off their apps. And things like smart TVs, Apple TV, and Chromecast make it easier. You keep your job and income for the tenure of the show.
monster trucks looks like a cool movie idea ruined by child friendliness bullshit would be a great horror/action film of sorts. he has to feed people to the truck to keep it going through races and win.
Wasn't the idea literally thought up by a 12-year-old or something, though?
:snip:
When I saw the Monster Trucks trailer in the theaters I was laughing so hard. Like that's the easiest idea ever: "what if it's monster trucks but the truck is literally a monster". It seems so silly. Hell, maybe it'll be good though. Who knows.

Super Mario Brothers the Movie is still waiting for a sequel hollywood. It can't get any worse honestly.
There's a lot of mediocre looking original movies and reboots coming out on 2017, but at least there are a couple films that look more promising like Get Out. [editline]12th January 2017[/editline] This one is being directed by Jordan Peele from Key and Peele, btw.

Haven't the new Planet of the Apes movies all been well received so far? I've been meaning to watch them for a while but haven't had the chance to yet.
