[sp]I'm thinking it was on purpose from someone or something.[/sp]
Also, I really [sp]hate this secondary plot about Punjab trolling on the internet. I really hope it doesn't take much screen time.[/sp]
i doubt it would, it wasnt like there was a huge news story regarding it in the past year and since [sp]they are back to fishing for ratings they arent going to have time for smaller stories like that one[/sp]
That was a great episode.
I really disliked the Osama one due to the overdone patriotism (even if it was taken from reality), here in Germany we had a huge scandal because our chancelor said she was happy that Osama is dead and people didn't like an official saying that a person dying is a good thing.
In America it was a huge day for everyone when they got Bin Laden. I mean, I don't understand why, but that was 100% not over-hammed-up.
i remember when i heard it on the news. It was kinda surreal, i kept thinking to myself "no way, they actually got him. wow."

I just went "oh ok cool" and then continued on my with my day

Yeah. I think killing people is bad as a rule, but even I had trouble trying to be somber about it. People in my school were cheering. The show was definitely not off the mark.

To put it in an American perspective.
Until September 11th, the US was a happy nation for the most part. We felt secure, wealthy, happy. We had this innocence that the world didn't all hate us. And then that day happened and out happiness and security was taken away. And then going after the bastard took away our wealth. We changed who were were and became a different nation because of that day, I think that's why most people were cheering, they were hoping that removing him would change all that.

All of this, but, also, revenge. People are very much "eye for an eye" about 9/11. Only blood can pay for blood, when it comes to down to this attack.
I really didn't like this one, it felt like it was a bit all over the place, at least during the first three fourths of the episode.
[sp]The blackout was pointless. Jim didn't seem quite himself in that scene where they're trying to convince Lisa to join the broadcast (seriously, that scene was painful to watch). And they gave more time to the "troll" story, which was even more painful.
The cheap jokes (like with the pants) weren't funny either.
Also, is it me, or did Mac's character freak out way too much in this one? I felt she was rather annoying during the blackout, and when it quickly ended, as well as during her meltdown towards the end.[/sp]
I did like how that guy from Greek was in this during the second half. Though, is it me, or [sp]is he an asshole in everything that he's in?[/sp]

The [sp]blackout was completely pointless. I can't figure out a point besides an excuse to bridge the story through a common plot element.[/sp]
I found Will jumping around in his underwear to be the best thing that's happened to this show, though.
I honestly enjoyed the whole thing and her flip out was hilarious because it got 10 times worse when her sign went away.
Whats with this 'troll site' sidestory?
Whats with this 'troll site' sidestory?
I think it was just an awkward way of them contacting the death threat guy.
Eh, its actually true on some levels. Its deep net bullshit though.

"You're only a junior troller. To level up you need to TROLL THE BOSS."
Closest thing I can think of is myg0t, and all you have to do is bake a cake.
Therapist is death threat guy calling it now
Isn't it obvious? The death threat guy is [sp]Neal himself. He did it as a way of trolling the viewers, the ultimate way of getting into the troll fraternity.[/sp]
Duh.
[sp] Massive trollage by Punjab. Seriously. "I R THE HAKR. Y U SO AGRO. -BCUZ I R HAKR. K" [/sp]
Seriously.
Also, you need to fix Aka Drunk Jack McCoy, to aka Drunk Jack McCoy with a bowtie.
That was some good shit.
Awh... that was the last episode of this season.
GOD DAMN IT Maggie why are you so dumb
YES! YEEEESS! He said it! I've been waiting for someone to call the Tea Party the American Taliban.
GOD DAMN IT Maggie why are you so dumb
Maggie has the mind of a ten year old.
Jesus Christ I want to slap her.
It's like. [sp] He kissed me, OMG! I'm gonna tell Don, I'm gonna tell Don OOOOO CANDLES [/sp]
Is there ANY reaction to what this series is saying about American politicians AT ALL?
[sp]I liked when the sorority girl appeared at the end and its like bosh
full circle[/sp]
I've quite enjoyed this show and will be watching the next series. I think one of the things I like is it can have like 10 minute long conversation between a couple of characters which is just them talking about stuff.
Is there ANY reaction to what this series is saying about American politicians AT ALL?
You're talking to a bunch of Americans IN THE MIDDLE OF IT.
We talk about it everyday.
the problem with the whole maggie don thing is that they dont really portrait their relationship at all. Theyve been dating for a long time but the show doesnt express how close they are to each other so when moments like the candles happen the audience thinks "what is it you see in Don?" when it really should be "oh no, shes in love with 2 guys." The problem is, Don is put on the same plane as Jim even though Jim is totally new on a relationship level than Don. But since very little interaction is shown between Don and Maggie, Jim looks like the right choice even though shes been in a long relationship with Don and has never dated Jim.
Bumping this thread because the new season starts in less than an hour
