Newsroom's back today? Damn, I love this series.
People call it preachy, but that's one of my favorite things about it. Gives me a message to believe in. And it makes me remember that Daily Show episode when Jon Oliver went to the set of the show because there are no real reporters anymore and asked for a Sorkin speech.
I totally fell in love with this show when I binge-watched it this past week. So happy it's back on the air.
Sorkin doesn't like drones much.
Was it just me, or did that break up scene make Allison Pill look like a meth addict? I know it's a tiny thing to criticize, but the lighting was horrid and made her, and her teeth, look absolutely horrid.

Yeah, we're clearly in for some soapboxing on that issue. Which is fine with me, because cable news has been completely complacent on that issue and I'm happy to see them called out on it.
It would be nice to see some honest Obama administration criticism this season, after they spent all of last season teeing off on the Tea Party. I wonder how the show's structure is going to change with the addition of a massive fake news story on top of the regular stories. Did they really need to invent something? Did 2011 not have enough news for Sorkin?

Aw, only one more? Sad, was an amazing show.
Ah well - at least we have it to look forward to.
One more season, at least.
This is the kinda show that makes me happy about the future.
Better it goes out now than later when we all hate it.
