What they should do with this map is to make it 5-20 stories tall
If I wanted to play a clusterfuck with tons of explosions in close quarters I'd buy CoD. This is not battlefield, this is not what I bought the game for.
Why am I getting rated dumb? Battlefield is about huge maps with vehicles and 64 players, CoD is about shooting in close quarters, and close quarters tend to be clusterfuck, depending on the map. And players tend to abuse splash damage in close quarters. What exactly are you disagreeing with?
The video wont play for me in SD or HD.
What is this.
This should be fun regardless. This is not like CoD despite what people are saying, this game isn't riddled with flawed game mechanics, shitty respawning systems, and horrible hit detection. I always found myself at a HUGE disadvantage in really open maps like caspian and would always hang around buildings hoping to catch a few people off guard.
Obviously no one means CoD in terms of that but that it's small maps for a small amount of players instead of actual battlefield maps, you know 64 player large maps.
shitty respawning systems
Don't make me laugh, from what I have experienced BF has a horrible respawning system compared to CoD, at least in CoD it moves the spawn point when there are enemies near by so you don't get spawn camped, in BF3 I have seen people surround an area where the enemy would constantly spawn and spawn kill them and I have seen enemies spawn right in front of me and I'll be in a room with my team then an enemy will spawn right in the middle of us and get spawn killed.

Add "terrible map design" and you have a pretty solid list of cons against BF3, because I experience all of those every time I play. It's still a fun game but it ain't perfect.
Eh this doesn't look fun to me. Neither did that 25-30 FPS video they recorded. Ugh that frame lag. :pwn:
RPG's everywhere
looks ridiculously fun. there aren't any small maps at all in BF3, I welcome this change.
I'm actually excited for this. I think we need some close quarters maps to play team deathmatch in, the current deathmatch map layouts don't actually feel like they were actually made for deathmatch.
even though battlefield is all about lots of players and big maps, they actually managed to nail the gameplay of close-quarter action as well.

No you're not allowed to, you have to hate and vilify this as if EA just broke your door in, raped and murdered your family then burnt your house down.
Not sure if Im late or anything havent read all the replies but that 1st map looks to be almost a copy of The multiplayer villa map from Tom clancys rainbow 6 (think its called New vegas 2)
I would pay $20 for this infantry map if they put skid loaders with mounted guns indoors.

Exactly what I thought, from vegas 2.
Exactly what I thought, from vegas 2.
It was the only map I ever played on that game as I knew all the hiding places :D so just ran around with a desert eagle. Bit cheap really by them but at least ill be one step ahead when it comes out :D

Because it's DLC. Nobody is forcing you to buy this. If you dislike close quarters combat, don't buy this DLC.

uuuuuuuhhhhh.....
I just gave you... my reasons why I'm not buying it?... The fuck is your point? You make no sense.
I'm not impressed.
I almost didn't buy BF3 because the close-quarters indoor environment of the beta, which only had Metro on Rush on the 360. I play BF3 to get away from that sort of thing. I want large operations and a coherent team with a large battlefield, not close-quarters, individual running and gunning.

Considering that I'll ave to to play with my friends when this comes out and that I'll miss out on weapons, then I'll basically need to buy it to keep up with the people I play with. The same thing happened with B2K.
"1 week early for PS3"
What platform did the Battlefield series start on?
...oh... right, the PC. Thanks for sticking with us
Ohhh one week early. Boo Fucking hoo
You make no sense:
I am speaking out my opinion about this and why I don't like it (in case you missed it I bought battlefield for open maps and 32v32 battles, and this is something else). Thus why I'm not going to buy this. And you reply with "don't like it, don't buy it?" How the fuck does that make sense?

Yeah, that's the downside.
nope
I'm gonna get armored fury, maybe

I misinterpreted your post.
I misinterpreted your post.
How did you interpret it as then?
"oh god I hate this dlc, but I'm forced to buy it, why are they doing this to me? 9/11 was an inside job. chemtrails. thumbs up for weed and skrillex" ?

Maybe the fact that some people do actually want something like this and you can simply chose not to buy it and avoid playing and not have to whine about how it's not battlefield.

"oh god a new dlc that reminds me a lot of cod, i hate it but i have to buy it because it's battlefield"
don't ask why, i tend to understand things wrong.

What are you talking about? Did I tell people not to buy it? Did I insult DICE for making this? And I basically already stated that I'm not buying it by saying why I don't like it, why are you telling me that I don't have to buy it, doesn't make sense. I really don't understand this "don't like it don't buy it" logic. And your response has nothing to do with the points I made in my first post. You basically responded to what you assume I think.

If you don't plan to buy it and are not interested in it then why are you complaining about it?
