I thought maybe they were to pick up radar or something for the radar detector.
Maybe its one of those fancy systems I've heard of that communicates with a server/satellite to detect where cops and speed-cameras are, if those are even real. Since in the other videos, the thing on their dash started beeping when they get close to cop cars. But in this situation it only started beeping from the radar I think. I unno yo.
my dad has one of those things and yes it "detects" cameras and cops.
