Silly, sunglasses breaks in millions of pieces when they are hit by an airsoft BB's. You need working or ballistic glasses or goggles to protect your eyes.

The area of your face is only so big. It takes seconds for a burst of airsoft BB's to cover that area. Guess what happens if you get one in your mouth, ear canal, nose, or under the protective edge of your glasses?
What if some dickhead gets a pinpoint shot with a scoped rifle on your lip or something?

If you are smart, you either wear just ballistic glasses with a protective curve and tight fit, along with a helmet or other headpiece, or you wear a mask. I know some people who wear just the ballistic glasses, but these are people that are playing in milsim matches on the enemy team, knowing that the people they are playing with arent going to fuck around.

I've played with a mesh mask a few times, its not fun. If you get shot at close ranges you can feel the BB break off and shrapnel hitting your face/eye. I do not recommend mesh at all.
