Also, the 'dead' thing was, I'd argue, inferred from the whole 'run its course'. What else does that mean other than you're going to stop watching it? If its run its course for you, then your relationship (as such) with it is over - as in, you're going to stop watching it.
Anyhow, my point was that people engage in these threads regularly because they enjoy the shows, at least somewhat (even if they find it flawed, and think it's less funny/quality/whatever than it used to be, and have significant criticism). You don't seem to post anything in these threads [i]but[/i] criticism (and not just, "I didn't like this"). Which is your right, of course, but that's why people get 'up in arms' about it.

Honestly I was kinda miffed that John Goodman hasn't been in it more. All the hype posts on official sources made it out like he would be the antagonist of the dean, like a major character.

I still don't get it what was his problem with the dean and the whole money situation. That entire scene didn't make much sense for me.
The dean of the Air Conditioning school felt that their portion of the school was ignored even though they deserved the money as they had a student success rate impossibly greater than the rest of Greendale combined. The regular dean lost the argument with him about spending, and can no longer complain about them spending the school's funds on anything.
That's pretty much all I got out of it, I figure that the Air Conditioning school is spending a ludicrous amount of money, meaning the campus has barely any funding.

This is another one of the continuity issues raised by the re-ordering of 304/303; if they're shown in order, it makes it pretty clear that the Annie/Jeff romance is dead. Which is a good thing in terms of story-progression.
