I can't play this game because my Xbox doesn't take tokens or quarters.
This game could of been so cool
Those fucking figurines
And the funniest part is that his arms look more plastic then they do.
I like how the helicopter just hovers two feet over the surface of the water with the gunner shooting at nothing.
Also so many stock sounds it physically hurts.

It's from the movie. The gunner knows he's in the water but can't see where, so he fires blindly.
Those parts where he's shooting the gun like a character would in the arcade look like their from a fake game created for a TV show.
Well... I don't exactly know what to say about this.
Nope, can't think of anything witty to say here.
I played this in India of all places, it's fucking awesome, but the kickback from the machine gun, combined with its weight, will tire your arms out very quickly. Also like all arcade shooters, the difficulty ramps up like hell in level 2
When I played it, the thing wasn't properly configured. So wherever you aimed, the bullets would really hit about 3 centimetres to the top right. Basically making it unplayable, I didn't even make it through the second screen...
It's pretty much House of the Dead or Virtual Cop, but Rambo-fied. I think you have to shoot thrown projectiles too, which is harder than it looks when your gun is shooting 3 centimetres off where you point at.
I want a lightgun for that. It's like the dream of 12yo me. A rail shooter where you can occasionally walk around freely with graphics that wold have blown my mind and mindless violence.
Sure, for today's action game standards it'll be laughable but this takes me back to the days when I wanted video games to be exactly like that
I do remember playing a Rambo arcade shooter like this. I wonder if it's just the same game, dusted off and ported to other platforms?

Sega's Rambo Arcade is a different game, and a much better one too. One of the best rail shooters.
The best rail shooter ever is

At least, when you are 10 years old and you just saw Indiana Jones for the first time it is.
Also, the cabinet looked like this, and had [del]hydraulics[/del] a magical bench seat.

Actually, I met guys that work on this. They were running some expos on a game convent that I've been to. They explained that the idea of a rail-style rambo fps was enforced by the publisher, and that everything looks so weird becose of how most of their shaders don't work on PS3. None of them watched a rambo movie before they started working on the game btw.
Oh, and in the middle of an expo lights went off becouse a gaming tournament that took place one floor lower caused a power outage. You know, all these alienwares running at full speed at the same time. So they never showed us the "exclusive footage" they promised, instead I went home half an hour earlier.
So yeah, I don't realy expect the game to turn out too well.
