EDIT: I've never seen people at 4chan get this pissed at a comment.
I love speedruns that just leave you in confusion and awe.
I agree, I barely had any idea what the hell was happening half the time
I kind of laughed and expected a usual speedrun at first.
Then he got into the test chember. Then when he pushed that cart, my jaw dropped.
Shit got too fucking intense.
When he was surfing the fucking cliffs he was literally flying next to the military jet that flies by... awe inspiring.
He was going so fast you could actually hear a doppler effect when he passes people.

I have to admit watching this made me feel kinda dizzy
Are there any torrents of the higher framerate videos? The normal downloads are either slow as shit or don't work

It's just a poor copy/paste in the OP.
This should be 200 Mbit (if not overloaded)

flash gordon strikes again

Try this one (720p60).

Trying something new, should download from the main web servers and then the clients will start serving.
Fuck jumping off the ichtyosaur. He jumped off his own fucking crossbow bolt.
As someone that speedruns bhop maps in css, this is just awe inspiring when you understand some of the stuff hes doing, while having to keep his speed he also has to worry about smoothing out his strafes. If he takes a corner to fast or anything he can loose speed and just miss a skip or something else completely, it's insane.
My friend is saying this isn't legit because they used the original Half-Life build.
Imagine Freeman's Mind was commentating on this entire speedrun.
Mods for steam version to restore WON bugs actually. Still legit either way.
Hah, freeman restores hp while being captured.
too fast cool
This is really incredible. Refining a route on a 2 min bhop map can take days, if not longer. The amount of time which must have been invested in this is truly amazing.
Cool, now do it with Black Mesa: Source.

That actually can be done without any scripts or exploits. The room just goes black but you can still move towards the health dispenser.

Actually you spawn in a dark room which is right behind the wall that has the health dispenser. And since goldsrc has the bug where you can press use through walls you can heal doing that.
That Quadrazid dude pulled of some impossible shit I cannot even begin to describe. I've seen a lot of speedruns but this one takes the cake.
So where do I find more speedruns like this one?
So where do I find more speedruns like this one?
Quadrazid does speedruns of Half-Life games and mods, but you can also check out www.sourceruns.org for both HL2 and HL runs. While HL2 has less "insane" tricks (like changelevel delay, which is used for the teleports) it does have a LOT more potential for speed, with Accelerated Back Hopping.

Oh and coolkid streams Quake and HL runs.
Do you really not recognize the most important character in the series other than Gordon himself
Well it isn't until HL2 that they name characters, and Gman wasn't one of them
[editline]13th April 2014[/editline]
Also I like how fast xen was cleared. That whole portion of the game was a chore
Forget about Freeman? You never even knew him in the first place!
I love how at 10:50 G-man just stands there as Gordon passes him at a ridiculous velocity. "Dr. Free- Wait, where did he go?"
Well it isn't until HL2 that they name characters, and Gman wasn't one of them
The Administrator was mentioned many times in Half-Life.
I love speedruns. Seeing all of the wacky things people do to shave off seconds is super cool.
Quadrazid is a guest in this SourceRuns podcast:

It's about 6 months old, but it's still interesting.
