Can you post pics? I've got an bt-4 laying around somewhere, and that would be something I'll do to it if I have cash to burn (aka prolly never)
First time I played paintball I was scared of the pain so I wore two pants and two sweaters.
Good thing too, I got shot in the nuts but barely felt it.

Tight long sleeve camo shirt, army surplus pants. Best set up, since I am skinny as fuck.
I assume you dont play much and have only rented a few times... thinking of really getting into the sport?
Naw, man. I played that one time and that one time only. It's fun, though. One time I thought about making some velcro bracelets connected to a walkie-talkie for fast communication.
I have a ear piece I use for Scearios. Aka nearly never. Walkie talkies are really overated in paintball, i think.
Became a ref at my local paintball place a few weeks ago, it's pretty laid back. The other employees are chill. Anyone that stops by San Antonio Tx. send me a pm and i'll tell you which field

I only wear a tshirt, jeans and gloves. I started wearing gloves because I was shot right between my index finger and middle finger. Managed a cut on the small piece of skin there and for a little cut it was quite painful.
All my balling buddies keep talking about youtube review people like wolf
brace for stupid

His videos are unnecessarily long with terrible editing (so bad it almost feels deliberate) and when he reviews shit, he doesn't go indepth atall. I dont think he ever takes any of his gear apart, and he really should. When I watch a review, I expect it to be informative, short and sweet, and to cover all bases. Wolf does none of these things.
along with the annoying sound clips
Oh, an alpha black in the OP. That's what I use. Does the job well for my needs. I've been paintballing for about 2 years now and I've had a ton of fun with it. I'm thinking of purchasing some upgrades to my gun. I'd like a grip, my current shroud doesn't have a rail on it which is pretty annoying.
Damnit I thought the threads title said "let's talk about PINBALL!" :(

I'd go for the rt trigger, cheaper than the e-trigger, and just as fast.
So guys, I'm a Canadian who hasn't played much paintball, but loves it. I'm just beginning to toy with the idea of buying my own stuff, and I'm wondering what kind of markers I should consider. Stuff about the way I play:
1. I'm a huge showoff, so I'm going to want something that looks fairly cool.
2. I don't fire a whole lot, so I don't need much capacity.
3. My aim's fairly good, not a long-range expert though.
4. I have been known to hold (even those heavy/bulky rental) markers with one hand; see point 1.
5. The paintball places in my area are all basically outdoor with some cover and forts, mostly fairly large forested areas with very small buildings and lots of little barricades.
6. Don't forget point 1.
7. I'm really just barely considering it right now, I doubt I'm going to want to spend any significant amount of money anytime soon. That said, show me whatever you think is good for me, and I'll put it into far-future consideration; if you can recommend something cheap, that works too.
So uh, sup.
Recently came from paintball, fucking loved it. Want to get into it, Wondering if anyone knows the best online site for shit in AU.
I mostly want a full head cover mask because I kept getting shot above the mask and it hurt like fuck.

if you wanna show off, get a Tippmann A5 with one of those obnoxiously large Barret .50 cal kits

^thats it
None of that looks bad, but I'm looking for something a lot smaller than DangerStranger's suggestions and a little more badass than green bandit's... Some kind of WW2 weapon might be nice, an SMG or something perhaps. Where do you guys generally go to look at what's out there?
Whats your budget? That will really help me/us help you.
yeah, budge would be nice.
You can always just get an a5
http://www.ansgear.com/Tippmann_A5_Paintball_Guns_s/313.htm
Get the aesthetic upgrades you want, for it to look like the gun you want
http://www.ansgear.com/Tippmann_A5_Upgrades_s/170.htm
Well, like I said... Budget's going to be extremely small in the near future. Oh, I should mention that I'm kind of interested in getting a paintball PISTOL, I've heard they're a lot of fun, and like I said I don't fire very often so small mags isn't an issue.
Pistols are pricy, I don't really recommend them, sa-17 would be my choice though, if you really wanted it.

Pistols are good a for a budget 'cos they use less paint, but I still recommend getting something semi automatic. The two .68 pistols out there (TPX and Tiberius pistols) aren't exactly easy to maintain, and the magazines also cost quite a bit. What you save on everything else, you will spend on magazines. Google all this stuff, alright?
Get a A5 or X7c. There is no difference - only looks differ, they both use the same internals. The A5 is good for the SMG type looks, and you can get full body shrouds like the Barret kit, I showed you, + others. Google around and see what you can get.
The X7c is better for more assault rifley looks, and pulls off a SCAR look exceptionally well without breaking the bank (all you need to make a C7c a scar is a stock and 2 sights!)
Plus, if you buy an x7c, you can later upgrade to the X7 Phenom which is 10x better in efficiency and accuracy, plus its alot quieter, and STILL use your stocks/shroud/sights from your X7c.
(fyi; tippmann enthusiasts refer too he original x7 as the x7c, too differentiate more so from the x7 phenom, which is referred to as the x7p. the c stands for classic)

Go get the Proto SLG it's pretty cheap and it does its job pretty well.
My local paintball field has a X7 made to look exactly like a SCAR. They were selling it for $1300.
and a few days later someone bought it, and all of their marker has been bought / our of stock. Now I can't buy a marker for myself.

That x7 was a total rip off. Even assuming it had a fully upgraded valve, cyclone, and tons of accessories, its a rip off.
And go online. Much cheaper.

Theyt don't make Proto Slg's, they were notouriously unreliable.

Go with the Proto Rail (updated slg without a sear tripper, works very well)

I can't go online in malaysia, cause even buying one marker I'll need an Import Permit and a signature from the high police chief. Its a lot of nuisance.
Post-Christmas sales, motherfuckeeeeeers!
Bought a 14in deadlywinds fibur, with the APEX2 adapter, AND the complete boremaster freak insert set for just under $200 shipped.
