I take it as a bit of an explanation as for why the prop 19 polls are inconsistent.
i can't say i have a lot of experience with election polls or whatever, but i know that i have never voted in a single poll that i've seen results from, and i'm sure a majority of the people voting haven't either. the only real way to know what the results are going to be is after the election. i'm relatively confident that prop 19 is going to pass. why, you ask? i'm pretty sure that people who usually don't vote (i.e. stoner slackers) are going to vote if they can legalize bud. and a lot of people are in favor of legalizing even if they don't smoke. i can't really back up my information because tbh i've just picked it up as i go along, but i'm pretty sure there's going to be a lot of people voting yes. [editline]24th October 2010[/editline] of course this is all my opinion, i could be completely wrong.
Those people though, wouldn't go grab a bag of honey barbeque fritos, but rather cook themselves a meal or go out to dinner or something like that.Something a bit more sophisticated. That's just the way I see it though.
I think you're forgetting that these people will be stoned. I don't know anyone who is willing to go through all that trouble (stoned) when you can just drive to your nearest taco bell and be equally satisfied. You can't make your own Baja Blast. Here's a better idea, why don't you actually donate to a candidate that will legalize it first??
Here's a better idea, why don't you actually donate to a candidate that will legalize it first??
3rd party contenders never get elected due to the fact they have no funding; so you'd wonder why they even run, right? It's because the democratic and republican party will pick them and say that they support them so that the 3rd party supporters will vote for the party that makes a fake promise to help out the green party, or the whatever party. It all adds up to hope that if they get in office they will keep their promise, or receive some angry letters - Oh No! td;lr A 3rd party candidate will not get elected, and they don't expect to. They only run to get fulfillment from a bigger party that will get elected that their views will be heard and accomidated to. Ain't politics grand, I hate knowing a lot about things I hate. . .
