Hah, like they'd ever do something that pleasing for the viewers.
What would be more pleasing is if she walked into a pack of zombies.
This cast shot sort of seems like foreshadowing for the whole barn scene, even though Shane still has his old hair style here.

Shane looks super horribly derped there.
Also, just started watching this earlier today, had every episode so far recorded on my PVR but never got time to watch. This is incredible.
I just finished watching all of this season's episodes.
That hyundai product placement in the first one made me rage a bit.
Brand new Hyundai Tucson sitting in the middle of a bunch of smashed up cars. THIS EPISODE BROUGHT TO YOU BY HYUNDAI.
Apparently Korea has been spared from the zombie invasion, or their zombies are a bit more productive, and continue designing SUVs and exporting them to the States.
Latest episode was pretty good. [sp] Why did they have to kill Otis? He was awesome (reminds me of someone i know) [/sp]

To build character, to have an interesting plot and to stir up emotions in people. Pretty much.
Can we not put spoilers from the comics in this thread? Lots of people, including me, are having a hard time differentiating between those and ones from the episode. Could we create a separate thread for the comics or something if we're going to discuss them?

I have the same problem with the Game of Thrones thread.
Spoilers are still spoilers whether they are from an episode next week or a plot that could happen in 3 years time. Isn't it your choice to click the spoiler tag or not?
After all both comic and tv show are related to each other, so you can't expect people not to make comparisons.

No, people put what happened in the TV series in spoilers so that other people don't get the latest episode ruined for them. When I want to discuss an episode, I'll click those spoilers and it'll turn out that some retard has just ruined pretty much the whole season.
The people posting the plot from the comics are being fucking inconsiderate, especially seeing as this is in the 'Film and Television' forum.
Or people should put "Comic spoiler" in front of their spoilers like in the Game of Thrones thread.
Comics thread wouldn't get any replies. We had the same issue in the thread for Game of Thrones. The best way to handle it is that everyone differentiates the kinds of spoilers they're tagging. For example: (comic spoiler) [sp]There are zombies[/sp]. (show spoiler) [sp]There's zombies too![/sp]. In some cases you should tag it with both (comic & TV spoiler), as the show differs from the comic quite a bit. Everyone agree to this?

Well just because you watch the TV show doesn't mean you read the comic, so there still is a vast difference in spoilers between the TV series and the comic.
Either people don't discuss the comic in here since this is about the TV show, or they should announce it properly when they talk about the comic.

Sorry. I'll put comic spoilers in front of mine from now on...
But I'm not a retard :colbert:
Keep in mind that major plot points have changed/not occured in the tv show so nothing in the show has been officially spoiled by comic info. The readers are still being surprised by the tv series.
I support the new tagging concept, but i'm just saying.
I would honestly just mention if it's a comic spoiler, because there's no guarantee it will spoil anything on the show, or will even show up in said season.
Comic Spoiler[sp]I wonder if they'd go so far as to have scenes like the child killer decapitating those two kids[/sp]
I'm near certain they will not add that. The outrage would cause the entire show to be cancelled.
[editline]4th November 2011[/editline]
And the show is afraid to express the same themes, because the writers are a bunch of pussies.
I'm all for them trying their own thing here, but god damn it seems so incredibly wooden and non-realistic.
well that was a disappointing episode, nothing but bitching and crying. the only good parts where with shane and otis and that was only 5-10min screen time, just seem's the show has gotten slower since S1.

Yeah, but weren't they supposed to do like twice the episodes with half the budget?
yeah, but there's no reason why they need to show "x moaning/crying/bitching" i'd rather watch them walk around looking for the missing girl then "x moaning/crying/bitching"

Can't argue with that. It was more in response to the show going slower than S1.

I was going to comment on that as soon as I saw it...and then I saw the little Nordic cross.
New episode tonight
Wait, what time?
Wait, what time?
the same time as always? there won't be an immediate encore because Hell on Wheels premieres right after it.
That new show Hell on Wheels also premieres tonight right after TWD.
Guess my night is booked.
Aw yea, zombie time.
