a question about the comics, are the walking dead weekley and the walking dead the same series? and what issue are we up to in terms of the TV show

not sure what the weekly thing is, but the latest story in TWD comes out once a month. also, in issues we're barely breaking the ice, maybe issue 20 at the latest, don't remember.

Way before issue 20, closer to maybe 10. (comic spoiler)[sp]In 11 they open the barn. By 13 they're at the prison.[/sp]

There wasn't time to think it out. [sp]Shane is actually fucking believable and somewhat likable unlike mega-bitch Andrea and pretty much everyone else who isn't effective at survival.[/sp]

It seems like everyone discussing this has come to accept that it was for the good of the boy, but I just think the way it went down was misleading and made Shane's actions seem rather unnecessary.[/sp]

Yeah, maybe had they timed the pacing of it differently, it may have seemed different. But idk, the way I saw it, it was just messed up as all hell.

This series of the walking dead is shit. All they do is sit about in an old mans field and looking for a lost child that is probably dead, sorry a zombie. I enjoyed the first series, its just very boring now. I think this is the end of the walking dead, both for the series and me.

I rewatched the first episode of The Walking Dead. Brilliant compared to anything from season 2. Even from the first episode, you could already see Shane's utilitarianistic viewpoint.

Same thing happened with Lost (yes I know a lot of people thought it was boring and stupid overall), Season 2 started off shite but eventually mounted up ok then it continued on pretty steadily.

Oh man, half of Lost S2 was fucking terrible. They did nothing but sit in that goddamn hatch. TWD S2 seems to be improving IMO.
