most insane episode i have ever seen
I went all OH HELL NO At least the season can finally move on :v:
I love how you guys have inadvertently spelled out the twist of the last episode. But that episode... goddammit I nearly threw my remote through my TV. Why did they do that? Not only does that make most the season pointless, it also deviates from the comics incredibly (not saying its always bad to be different from the source material, but still!)!
That was a really good way to end the season, I think. The show kind of redeemed itself from the past iffy episodes.
The season did not end.
THINK ABOUT IT. I THOUGHT ABOUT IT. THINK ABOUT IT. I THOUGHT ABOUT IT. THINK ABOUT IT AGAIN.
The season did not end.
To end the middle of the season. Whatever you want to call it.
Who shoots Glenn!? (in the preview)
Who shoots Glenn!? (in the preview)
I'm betting on shane in anger/frustration/ignorance, or maybe meryl finally makes a return? [sp]...or maybe Tyreese in a misunderstanding such as when Carl was shot.[/sp]
Why i cant see any shooting at preview? Edit: Nvm.. Theres no blood in the back of Glenns shirt, so i think he didint get shoot.

What a really powerful episode. Also, I think a L4D reference would've been more appropriate. :v:
Potential future spoilers linked to comic: [sp]Shane gave Carl a pistol and told him to hold onto it. Think it'll be the pistol that eventually (maybe) kills him?[/sp]

This made me laugh.
but him being lowered into the well was nothing like Portal :( come on, writers
I'm surprised and relieved they didn't say like call of duty zombie nazis.
[sp]I was sick of them hanging on Sophia so I'm glad they actually made some use of it at the end[/sp]
The preview shown on Talking Dead has Dale telling Lori that he thinks Shane shot Otis.
i missed the preview, could anyone give a synopsis?
No spoilers, just shows the portal reference.
The reference felt a little forced, but it made me smile.
My eyes honestly started to water at the end. [sp]I though Carl was gonna have a little buddy... why did they do this. Why.[/sp]
I'm starting to really like Shane, he's the no-nonsense protect the group at all costs person and gets things done, I have no idea what Dale was thinking about to throw the guns away though, to protect the group? What a stupid thing to do. [editline]28th November 2011[/editline]
My eyes honestly started to water at the end. Oh right, my bad.
According to Kirkman, it's Shane's fault that they took so long to find Sophia because [sp]he killed Otis, who corralled the zombies, before they could say that they were looking for a little girl. If Otis was still alive, he could've just said that he found a little girl zombie and that she was in the barn.[/sp]
I'm just glad that Sophia's finally been dealt with, it was getting too drawn out. Also, Alice Cooper on the Talking Dead? Best call in, ever.
The host of the Talking Dead got Daryl's zombie ear necklace as a birthday present.
So that's two Valve references on AMC this year. The obvious Portal one, and Breaking Bad referenced Left 4 Dead last season.
Great episode and great first half of the season, there seems to be a lot of nitpicking in this thread. The Sophia plot only lasted half a season, and it ended up having big consequences on the overall plot. I get that the dialogue can be corny at times and the acting isn't always superb, but at the end of the day I find this to be minor stumbles in what is otherwise a great and thoroughly entertaining series.
