This show is too slow, i have a feeling we are given too little for the time we spend waiting in between airing.

Just watched the webisodes, not too shabby. Seeing Scott Ian as a zombie was probably the best bit though.

Personally, I think that 1-2 good episodes each season would still make me watch the show. Of course they need to work on that, though.

I've spent 90% of this season saying "Ok this is where Shane's gonna die!" and then being disapointed. I still like the show though.

They're treating the characters quite differently so far and IMO Shane is just too damn good to kill off right now. I get the feeling he's gonna be gone by the end of this season though.

Yea I was about to edit into my post something about that. It is KIND OF cool that they're fleshing Shane out a little more. His death might mean something more to people who haven't read the comics or something. I saw somewhere where the creator guy said killing off people in the show is different since he's technically firing them so that probably explains the direction the show went. The guy playing Shane is definitely a talented actor. I wonder how the show's going to handle the whole Governor arc thing if they even do that.

On the subject of Shane, how did Dale know that he shot Otis?

I figured with winter coming up, they were going to use it to get to the point in the comics where it starts snowing. Evidently next season is just going to be more fucking around on the farm(without snow).

Man, just finished watching all the episodes, anyone want to direct me to the comic or do you have to buy the comic? Also, I love Shane, he's such an awesome character even if he is a dick. I don't want to see Shane die, they set him up as such an invincible character and he's [sp] supposed to, from my reading, have died already? IMO if Merle comes back, they'll focus more on him vs. Darryl rather than T-Dog

I'd like to think a character driven show like this, were Merle to return this soon they'd keep T-Dog around just for that extra bit of development. Heck, they may be keeping T-Dog around this long because they want Merle to kill him when he returns.
