I think William Sadler would be good for this role, and after all, he has worked with Darabont before.
William Thomas Sadler (born April 13, 1950) is an American actor who works in film and television. His television and motion picture roles have included Lewis Burwell "Chesty" Puller in The Pacific, Luther Sloan in Star Trek Deep Space Nine, Sheriff Jim Valenti in Roswell, and—perhaps most notably—the Grim Reaper in Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, a role for which he was nominated for, and won, the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor.[1]
Oh fuck yes.
I can't wait to see how they handle Rick [sp] Losing one arm in the tv series [/sp].

He[sp]lost his arm[/SP]after Issue 70, so yeah...
Oh my goodness I haven't been so excited in a long time.
I love zombies.
But I love slow zombies. They are delivering slow classic Romero zombies. and it's in a TV show. And it's produced very well. AND it has record ratings, meaning it will not be cancelled right away. It's like my prayers have been answered.
If they do continue this on for many seasons, I hope they leave [sp] one of the twins becoming a psycho and killing the other one [/sp] in.

Yes, he only lost his [sp]hand[/sp] before that.
It's going to be difficult to leave some stuff in. The [sp] Governors torture scene, the display of heads seems a little risky, and many of the scenes with involving the kids deaths[/sp] will be hard to predict how they are going to do it, or if they even will. Though, if this goes on for an entire season, I hope they get to the prison before it's end.

Is the part that i was talking about. But still just saying that after issue 70 they are [sp] in the town and nothing of that sort happens...yet.[/sp] Also, there only 74 or 75 issues.

They did start off by shooting the child zombie in the tv series.
How long are each comics and how many issues are there. I am very interested in reading those.
About 80 by now
One issue is around 30 pages, there's 78 out so far.
OK so it's your typical 30 page comic book. It's black and white, right ?
Yes, cover is coloured.

I thing I have against the comics is that many issues are very light on content. There are issues where nothing really happens.
So there are a lot of issues for you to catch up on, but on the bright side you should go through them pretty fast.
YOu sometimes might want to just skip the dialogue.
I just watched the pilot. So awesome. Will be reading the comics as well.
Love the series so far. I'm excited for Glenn and Andrea (omg I love Laurie Holden).
Just watched the first episode, have they released the second yet?

It's every on every SUNDAY and it first aired (not counting the leaked versions) on Halloween.
How many television shows have been "Zombie Apocalypse" centered? From what I've seen, none, but this is the answer to my TV prayers.

Yeah the pilot was pretty cool. You wont regret reading the comics.
I think it was great. I'm glad they made it so similar to the comic.
I apologise if one's already been posted, but does anyone have a link to where I can watch the first episode in the UK?
[SP]The Virus in The Walking Dead is inside everyone.[/SP]
This really makes the most sense. [sp]If the virus only spread by biting there wouldn't really be any problems[/sp]

There was a big simulation set up a while ago that showed what would happen in a bite only zombie type case, it spread almost as quickly.
Sounds like bullshit.
Look at SARS. That shit spread through the fucking air and we got that under control in like a month.
