No, the black guy tripped the box with all that stuff over when he was going for the racists handcuffs and dropped the key. In fact, we might even see "francis guy" again, although the scene with him on the roof was hopeless.. So. Besides the black chap locked the door to the roof, maybe saving some time for "Francis" to reach for the hacksaw/whatever tools laying on the ground somewhere near him.
Heard this episode was more cliche and cheesy compared to the pilot.

the first part was me talking about the asian guy driving off. the other part is why didn't the black guy give the guy a hacksaw when he dropped they key, that way he wouldn't have to be with them, but he wouldn't have been sentenced to death.

Yeah but the people in the forest heard they were in a department store so they might travel over there to check it out, find the racist and uncuff him.
The second episode was equally as awesome/better than the first episode. I fucking love this series so far, and holy shit this is actually quite original in many ways, none of the old cliche zombie themes and scenes.
Cant wait for next week.
According to the preview to the third episode, [sp]the brother of Racist Francis is with the people in the forest and gets pissed at Rick for leaving him handcuffed on a roof. So Rick and some other people have to go back to the City to save him[/sp]
