You're watching this show for the wrong reasons.
But I'm watching it and that's what matters.
Actually, are spoiler tags necessary? I think we should stop using em altogether, if you come here, expect spoilers. Don't read it until you've seen it
If the spoilers are about the tv series then damn right they need tags. Due to the fact the tv show is airing now, and obviously the comic is lightyears ahead
If the spoilers are about the tv series then damn right they need tags. No spoilers for the comics (future of the series) and you can spoil the series which is happening now and anyone can see it.
I don't think anything that is upcoming should be without tags. Lets say a comic issue from last feb, that doesn't need spoiler tags. But this months issue would. Spoilers from an episode that hasn't even aired yet, should be tagged. As well, no one has seen it yet. But things that have already aired shouldn't need tags. But hey, that's probs just me thinking out loud.
But spoilers from issues are spoilers from the show. How do you not realize this?
Bottom line is, if it spoils the show, fuck off and put a tag. If it spoils the new comics, spoiler tag that too.

[sp]I bet you thought this was a spoiler related to the show, didn't you?[/sp]
[sp]I bet you thought this was a spoiler related to the show, didn't you?[/sp]
Not really. Show related spoilers usually contain parts of unspoiled text
I didn't read the entire thread, so I am sorry if this was asked already. In the first episode, Rick shoots one zombie in particular near the end. What is the significance of that zombie that he shot? He also shot that same zombie in the comic.
Of fuck, I finished episode 3 and that's sad that he got stuck up there then [sp]his only option was to cut off his hand[/sp]. Now we wait to see what he did when Ep. 4 arrives.
It was a bit overkill though. Shane was just pissed about Rick arriving, so he released his anger on Ed.
Oh well, now he knows how it feels to be a battered woman.
If I wanted interaction between characters, I'd watch some drama. Here I want zombies. Spending most of the episode interacting is boring.
Then don't watch it 'cause that's what The Walking Dead is lol [editline]17th November 2010[/editline]
If you want human interactions, why are there even zombies? I have nothing against interactions, but if they are the whole episode, that's stupid.
It's a plot device.. [editline]17th November 2010[/editline]
I love AMC. Breaking Bad and now this? Who knew shows where its almost all talking could be so amazing?
AMC made me want to watch TV again, after a decade of shit reality TV and gameshows for idiots.

It can also contrast with the way he will change later on in the show.
This show is damn awesome. [editline]17th November 2010[/editline] archetypal-seemingly-frightened-but-brave-on-the-outside-cowboy-cop is the best character there is no doubting it
Everyone look at positives of the show ending. Mad Men will probably resume soon.
I still find Ricks Actor to look like he just came off drugs all the time and got no emotions at all.
I always believed that in a zombie apocalypse I would immediately kill anyone not getting with the program. Perfect example is the racist guy. Either he's helping you and he's on your team or he dies. If you leave him, but leave him alive then you are begging for him to pay you back. I would not be surprised if he leads a personal zombie army to their camp just out of spite. I just hope that when they find him and he says "What the hell do you fuckers want?" Rick tells him "Well, we came to give you a hand...oops."

My guess is Racist Francis [sp]will become a zombie or die from bleeding and thus reanimate, and then will be at the camp when it becomes overrun[/sp].
I would not be surprised if they use Racist Francis for [sp]the cause of the camp getting overrun[/sp]
That would actually fit in very well with how people behave in this universe.
This show shows you that even in a zombie apocalypse there are assholes and cheating wife's and women abusers.... Shit I can take it who wrote this if they wanted to do a drama then why did they do it with zombies. I want something cool like a TIR or more about zombies less about dicks.
i fucking love this show AND the cannels its on i caught up with all the episodes already....thank godness for On-Demand DVRs :v:

Also, AMC's motto is "story matters here" so something tells me...the story will matter. Ever watch Breaking Bad? The 2 main characters cook meth in it, but just like this show, the whole show doesn't revolve around them cooking meth, it revolves around their lives as people.
