I'm very happy with the way the show has gone so far... I watch each episode at least 3 or 4 times during it's week to see if there are any little things to pick up, and just because I enjoy it that much.

Did anyone else notice in episode 4 how when Rick shot that zombie while going back into camp that it flew back like 30ft? I laughed so hard at how unrealistic it as.

Was I the only one who felt slightly sad about Ed dying :(? Ok, so he abused his wife and daughter, but then Shane let out his anger on Ed, which caused him to not wanting so socialize with the others, then that zombie just kills him :(

I honestly wish the episodes were a bit longer, but nonetheless this show kicks ass in my books.

Yeah Ed dying was kinda sad, but the way he asked his daughter to accompany him seemed so pedophileish.

Yes, it was a test season to see the how the public would react to the show (accept or deny). It got nearly 6 million viewers. They got a second season with 10+ episodes.
