You know why I like this show? Because of the human emotion. Remember the first episode where Rick was walking through the park, looking for that one zombie? And he walks up to her, and says "I'm sorry this happened to you." Or when the dad had the sniper rifle up in the second story house and he was trying to put his wife down? He couldn't do it. Because when it comes down to it, they're still people. And that was still his wife. This show encompasses the state of human emotion. It proves that there doesn't have to be explosions and Hollywood cinematic actors just be a good show. All it needs is to connect people using the one thing we all have.
A preview of a few pages from the upcoming issue (79) are posted via AMC. http://blogs.amctv.com/photo-galleries/issue-79-the-walking-dead-sneak-peek/issue-79-cover.php
Both of these involved zombies. Discussing vibrators did not.
Wow, do you think every show needs to be 100% focused on the specific theme? Is comic relief impossible? You seem to be really picky about this show, like you want to not like it.
"boo hoo theres character development i just want mindless zombie killing because i like left 4 dead"
Both of these involved zombies. Discussing vibrators did not.
Sorry I appreciate more than the violence. I mean the guy on the roof cut off his, and they showed it. Hell, his brother kept it wrapped in a bandanna.

What the fuck man, you missed sex.
What the fuck man, you missed sex.
Oh you're right. -Sex -Sex with others -Domestic disputes -Children
[sp]in the comic black guy and his son shows up again.[/sp]
[sp]But the son is a zombie[/sp]
This is my new favourite tv show, holy fuck that episode was amazing.
Let me guess what parts you like, since you're portraying the average TV user. -Blood It's good if it's used when needed -Guns firing Yeah what's wrong with that? -Guns being loaded Not really, but it's ok I guess. -Occasional use of swear words Doesn't matter. Swear or no swear, as long as the writing is good. -Girls in tank tops Totally false. -Zombies (Hurr, like that's not the show's main appeal) I don't go all "omg everything needs zombies" but they're ok too. If you hate zombies, you wouldn't watch this. -Dead Zombies Aren't all of them dead? -The Breaking of Glass Not really, glass breaks, there's nothing to like or hate. -Boarded up houses Do not like, most of the time looks ugly. -Horses Fucking hate these things. I am a bit happy it got eaten. -Abandoned Army vehicles and equipment No. I prefer new equipment -Houses on fire Nothing to like here either. It's a house on fire, so what? -Businesses on fire Same -People who've recently been on fire Uh, what -Refugee camps That's where they spend most of the time in WD -People dying in refugee camps Nothing to like or hate. I wouldn't mind if they switched camps peacefully, but since zombies attacked, it happened. Did I miss anything, or should I add more?
So yeah, you're not entirely right. Also I don't watch tv, I don't even own one.
So yeah, you're not entirely right. Also I don't watch tv, I don't even own one.
His comment: Dead Zombies Your response: "Aren't all of them dead?" There's a difference between a dead human and a dead zombie. Zombies are humans that are in a trance like state with no self control over their actions, majority of the time they are portrayed as rotting walking corpses (yes L4D, and 28 Days Later zombies are zombies). The point that i'm trying to make is that when you see a zombie you don't say "Oh that zombie is dead" no you'd be saying something more along the lines of "Die zombie" Notice how you say "Die zombie" because a Zombie would be alive, it is technically a dead human but now that it's a zombie it's a different creature with a different type of death. I know most of this isn't grammatically correct and may be confusing; I'm tired and most of the gibberish that I'm thinking up right now isn't going to come out right.

Also seeing as we're on the subject 28 days later have infected, not zombies. If you've watch both movies you can see that. They're overtaken by rage (which is explained from the start). They're not FAST zombies, they're simply put infected.

How the fuck do you pronounce Michonne's name? For the life of me, I read it ten different ways.
So define zombies then in your opinion.
Zombies are reanimated corpses. When someone gets bitten or infected they usually die as a result of the infection/virus. After they pass then that is when they come back as zombies. In 28 days later the infection started with rage, which was transmitted via bodily fluid or a bite. The monkey bit the girl and she turned, later throwing up blood which transmitted it to the other person. The disease is almost like rabies, it messed with the person psychologically - sure they go after and try to eat people (not really eat, but brutally kill the fucking person.) but that is a basic function to live. In traditional zombie films you have to die in order to change. Not in this case, because it isn't zombies but infected. You must eat or consume something or parish. In 28 weeks later if you followed the story you hear that most of the infected began to starve that is how most of them died. That was the only true cure to the infection and even then the two main characters carried the virus but it had no effect on them. A infected sharing his experience with rage. You can even see how they transmit the infection and act. It is completely barbaric, rather then the whole "uuuuummm braaaains" Most zombies are the simple dead, shuffling, moan, groan and eat your brains type. They didn't have any intelligence, at least the original zombies did. Zombie is such a loose term now because of how many variations but you can't argue when a movie like 28 days later or weeks later clearly call these monsters "infected." They look like zombies but the back story and the way the function clearly shows they're far from it.
Me-shawn. I think. I said Mah-shawn when I first saw it.
I keep pronouncing me-shown-ay I have been wrong ever since I started reading the comic, and she was introduced. My life is now a lie.
Quick, let's hunt down Kirkman for the proper pronunciation!

How long will we have to wait for Season 2? Are they gonna start it up on Halloween again? That'd suck to wait that long :(
How the fuck do you pronounce Michonne's name? They already had a torso shuffle around in the first episode[/sp]
