That happened a lot of times in the comic as well.
I remember when [sp]there was an image of Lori with a shotgun to her head at the end of a comic and as the cover of the next one, at the end you find out it was just her and the doctor doing that so the governors men would think she was still on their side, which would help them escape. In the end rick finds them and it's waved away in two pages.[/sp]
