When I watched that scene I was sitting there like "Yeah, yeah, he pulls out the grenade and threatens to kill us all and the gangsters give them their friend and the guns. Seen it hundreds of times."
but then the old woman shows up and I'm like "whaaaaaaaaaat?!?"
I'm just glad that no one died during that scene.
I like the fact that they're doing key moments in the comic, but not directly following it. It gives the show some new directions to go to like the CDC. I also don't mind a lot of talking, I actually love those parts because you learn so much more about the characters.

Saw one or two episodes just channel surfing, watched the trailer just now and it looks awesome, now i need to see all of the episodes from the start since this looks like a fucking 10+ hour movie from the gods.
So if i am correct the comic is released in issues and is still being made? I would love to pick it (or some giant collection of them in one book) up on boxing day.

I'm not sure how each individual issue is released in terms of scheduling, but as far as I know, he binds six-issues per paperback, and then 12-issues per hardback. Accordingly, paperback Vol. 1 and 2 will be in the hardback Book 1. There's 13 paperbacks released, with the most recent having been released just two weeks ago (I like to pick up the hardbacks, since they include each issue's cover and bonus material, which the paperback does not).
Is the ending music to episode 3 a song or composed for The Walking Dead?

There is a compendium with the first 48 issues as well.

Darryl crying on the rooftops at the end of episode 3.
Not because i hate Darryl, just because its an awesome scene.
Oh yeah and Glenn saving Rick in the tank.
I heard they fired every single one of their writers.
My favorite scene is when the zombies flies back when shot with the shotgun.

What happens when they're completely swarming the tank due to the LOUD noises it'd be making? Can't exactly aim your barrel at the ground.
