Wow that was great and they finaly used the grenade. Am I the only one who thinks they should have left a car or 2 and taken a Deuce and a half instead?
What did Jenner fucking whisper in Rick's ear? Goddamnit.
Also, from my facebook:
[sp]If the event of a zombie apocalypse, detonate a thermobaric nuclear weapon. The CDC has plenty of them.[/sp]
Thermobaric Nuclear weapon? Arn't those 2 different types of bombs and the doctor said its thermoberic bombs are the most powerful non-nuclear weapon.
Jenner might have said, "Not to trust Shane", since he had cameras and could see everything including what Shane did. Or he might have said to watch out for his son since early on Jenner said he was worried about Rick's son. Thats what I got from the discussion on the AMC website anyway.
I said that grenade would be useful later in the season!!! (To bad it's a training grenade, oh well, 99% of viewers don't know that) What did the doc say to rick at the end? I NEED TO KNOW!

Yes, but adding in nuclear was for fun.
Dammit, that episode was amazing, I don't want to wait 10 months for the next season.

Uh, the M67 is the standard Army grenade. That wasn't a training one.

Yea and you could tell by the blue on the top of it.
So what the fuck happened to Merle, Morgan and his son?
Uh, the M67 is the standard Army grenade. That wasn't a training one.
Did you notice the blue paint on the top of it?

I was actually thinking the exact same thing. The Shane part.
Damn, I finished the episode so I came here to look through what people thought.
Saw something blacked out, assumed it was from the episode (no indication given) and turns out to be a comic-related spoiler (well, foreshadowing). Ah well it wasn't very specific.
Fuck fuck fuck there's so much left unanswered. What did the doc whisper in his ear? Where is the crazy redneck's handless brother? When is Rick gonna find out what Shane was doing with his wife?
Somebody cryogenically freeze my ass until October.
Did you notice the blue paint on the top of it?
I was too busy yelling at the TV to tell my what the fuck Jenner said.
Wait what about that family that left for Alabama, maybe we'll see them again?
Can anyone read lips? Can we see what he said by watching the clip of him whispering?
The beginning was cool, seeing as to how and why Shane left Rick for dead. Realistically, that was the only thing anyone could have done.
Also, I can't imagine what Jenner told Rick before he left.

Holy shit its a fucking prop relax, there is a lot of other fake things in this show that isn't meant for complete analysis.
Why does IMDB list Morgan (the black guy in the first ep), as being in TS-19? I never saw him.
I think he told Rick that they were all infected and it was just a matter of waiting for the person to die before they turned.

Not possible. They'd be running fevers and would be in need of chicken soup.

No you relax, I only said it because the guy said it was a real grenade.
No you relax, I only said it because the guy said it was a real grenade.
Because technically it is a real grenade. Just not in the show.
Not possible. They'd be running fevers and would be in need of chicken soup.
I read a book once and it explained how it could happen, the fever could be in everyone but just in adormant form and all it would take is a bite from one of the infected or death to wake up the virus and send the person into viral amplifacation.

What? Yeah it's a "real" grenade but it wasnt live like the main actor couldnt have blown something up with it.

You read a book about a fictitious disease? Neat. What's the incubation period? Or the RNA sequence? What type is it? Filovirus? Rhinovirus? What time does it take for the symptoms to onset?
Because technically it is a real grenade. Just not in the show.
Blue is the US army's way of designating it is not a live grenade. We're just pointing it out because some insisted that it wasn't a training grenade.
Which was my point. Which you just restated.

Yes actualy the book was titled feed and obviously it was fiction, but anyways it was a cross between the Rhinovirus and something else and jesus christ you're taking this to seriously I simply said an idea of what it could be.

Dude, I'm fucking with you. Chill. Lol No need to be all serious. I own the Zombie Survival Guide and whatnot.
Also, can you link me to the book? Sounds interesting.
Which was my point. Which you just restated.
I think you're arguing with me for the sake of arguing. I made a few statements that were the truth I did not come in here intending to get into a debate on a ficticous disease and what kind of grenade the actor had.
