Spent six and a half hours watching the marathon today. Was totally worth it until the Doctor whispered that in to Rick's ear. Now I'm all curious.
I was starting to panic when Dale wasn't going to leave, he's the coolest old guy ever dammit.
fucking shit, there has to be a site streaming the episode
That's close, almost forgot it was on tonight.
Honestly, though, I'm surprised how well Shane is portrayed. He was more of a douchebag in the comics, but here, the situation he's in, and the decisions he's made make sense, and are more and less understandable. Except the rape scene, that was too far.
I'm thinking that Jenner could have told Rick that his wife was pregnant, since he did blood tests on everyone. That or one of them is infected.

What a surprising turn of events.
I'm thinking that Jenner could have told Rick that his wife was pregnant, since he did blood tests on everyone. That or one of them is infected.
This is probably the most logical answer.

Well, that was a relatively underwhelming finale. I was sincerely hoping they'd have some balls to kill off the old guy and Andrea.
Oh god I'm so curious Any deaf people here that can read lips?
They should played "No Surprises" by Radiohead at the end. Would've captured Jenner's outlook.
I'm thinking that Jenner could have told Rick that his wife was pregnant, since he did blood tests on everyone. That or one of them is infected.
Hadn't thought of this but it does make the most sense compared to other theory's. [sp]Also fits nicely into the narrative of the comic[/sp]
Rick knows his wife is pregnant though. At least I thought he did. Didn't she announce it one or two episodes ago? [editline]6th December 2010[/editline] Does anyone know the name of the background music when they play the Stagger on Role contest promo?
Am I the only one that was more pissed about Jenner then the other black lady? I liked him. He woulda been cool to have on the cast. Badass explosion at the end though. Props on how they pulled it off.
I missed the last episode............ :( Luckily my dad recorded all the episodes on his DVR! But I can't watch it in tell Tuesday.... I think its worth the wait!
Why couldn't they just kill Andrea off why also, [sp]dammit when is carl going to kill shane[/sp]
[sp]When they whipped out the grenade I was all "YES!"[/sp] I was hoping Rick would say [sp]"Fire in the hole! Hehe, I always wanted to say that" before the grenade went off.[/sp]
Why weren't the front windows designed to withstand a rocket launcher?
Why weren't the front windows designed to withstand a rocket launcher?
The magic of plot devices!
Why weren't the front windows designed to withstand a rocket launcher?
Because those windows are not holding in the lab air, so if those windows break then nothing gets out. They are just standard "thick glass in case of the occasional random drivebys and senior citizens stepping on the gas instead of brake in the parking lot then ramming the building"-proof windows. I think what he told Rick was "voulez vous coucher avec moi", cause that's the code to get the French to share their info on the infection.
I'm so glad that whole CDC thing only lasted for one episode. [editline]6th December 2010[/editline] Anyways, as far as what the guy said to Rick, I'm thinking [sp]That he told Rick about Lori being pregnant, which hopefully means a short time at Hershel's farm and then off to the prison they go[/sp]
Oh god, that was great. [sp]Glad they didn't kill off Andrea and Dale, they've already proven enough that they're not afraid to kill off main characters. Plus I like those two, Dale is like Bill to me. He just seems wise.[/sp]
Because those windows are not holding in the lab air, so if those windows break then nothing gets out. Good finale... hope they turn up the production values for season 2. Spoiler on what I think the doc said to Rick (includes comic stuff): [sp]I'm willing to bet with 99% certainty it's that everyone is infected. It's the one thing that they've learned in the comics that would've been easily spotted by the scientist. There were also a few subtle hints in the dialog. I doubt it's the pregnancy because that revelation will add drama later after Shane is dead, keeping tension between Rick and Lorie. The virus thing will be a moment of "Why didn't you tell us?" after some sort of attack by a non-bitten person.[/sp] But, this is with high hopes they stick to the comic. Can't wait for October.
Why weren't the front windows designed to withstand a rocket launcher?
honestly who is going to shoot out a window with a rocket launcher?
Does anyone have a megavideo link of it? It won't be coming to my country probably ever. [editline]6th December 2010[/editline] nvm, found it on previous page thanks.
That was crazy awesome. I thought they were going to leave us with them trying to get out of the window and leave us all ripping our hair out of our heads. It's still going to be a long 10 months though. [editline]6th December 2010[/editline] Am I the only one who thought it was weird when Shane shot the window and we heard no ricochet of any kind? It was like the bullets just disappeared.
