they haven't started filming yet? what the fuck
They have, they've already had sections of the highway and Atlanta shut down. They just haven't gotten to my school yet.
Apperntly the new season comes out sometime near the end of July. Which i'm fucking stoked about. Are the graphic novels worth getting? I mean there are a lot of them, and being someone who's never really read a full graphic novel.
I thought i heard it comes back around October, the only best time for a nice zombie show. Loved the first season.

Sneak Peek of Season 2 during the Breaking Bad Season Premier on AMC.

So yeah I won the first season of this show, never watched it, complete surprise to me. But it was Blu-Ray, can't watch.
I've been reading TWD for a while, and I just finished up the show. Overall, I like the show; however, I have a few problems. [sp]Why is Shane not dead yet and where are the twins? Carl killing Shane and Ben were HUGE in the books, I hope they happen in Season 2.[/sp] I'm not asking for a carbon copy of the books, but Carl's development was one of my favorite parts of The Walking Dead.

Season 2 Preview Just Rick killing zombies. Not what I expected, but I'm nevertheless I'm excited.
Well, that was boring and uninformative.
IIRC you already didn't like the series, so..? If I have you confused with someone else, my bad.
I'm willing to give it another chance because they supposedly fired the horrible writers of the first season but this preview has shown absolutely nothing at all.
They weren't fired.
Well, that fucking sucks. Nevermind then, the same awful writing staff seems to be in place.
I watched this series about 2 months ago I thought the pilot was incredible, really great, had me captured. I loved the first and second episodes, but I think the series kind of lost momentum towards the end and became a lot less interesting. I've read some of the comics, and one think I do like is the fact that it's realistic, but I really hope the second season is more exciting than the first because I only really enjoyed about 3 episodes.
That preview shows nothing whatsoever. No story snippets, no new characters, not even S1 characters other than Rick, beating up zombies with a rock. I do want to watch Season 2, but how is that not boring?
Also the actor who plays lori is HOT AS FUCK milf for sure
Sarah Wayne Callies, she was on Prison Break too... she's a decent actress but her performance on this show has been fairly underwhelming thus far. But then again, everyone on the show has had extremely underwhelming performances.
I didn't think the acting was that bad I mean it was superb for a zombie "movie" or series, but it wasn't that bad, it had some funny moments "Good work China-man" "I'm Korean" "Whatever" Also the first episode, hiding out in the Abrams/riding a horse through an abandoned city, now THAT was awesome. Problem was it was realistic, so the later episodes were day to day stuff, avoiding contact, hunting, maintaining the camp I mean shit did go down but I wasn't enthralled. Goes to show there's a line between believable stuff and entertainment. That said I am very much looking forward to Season 2, I really should rewatch Season 1.

I just need Carl to turn into the battle hardened child we all know and love.[/sp]
They're doing it slower than before, because the creator wants to do more with Shane this time around and if you spoiler tagged that before, why didn't you do it now?
I think that the series kind of died down near the end. I don't like how they added side stuff to some of the main plot, it kind of sucks when you really like the original book more than the show.
the original creator is actually glad that [sp]shane is still alive because he wanted to explore the character a lot more than he did in the comic[/sp]
Yeah, there's an interview somewhere were the interviewer asks Kirkman if he regrets killing off any characters; I think Shane & Axel were the only ones he gave. Also, I was thinking yesterday - I'd be surprised if they didn't fasttrack the Abraham/Eugene/Rosita storyline in the show.

I wouldn't be as interested if I already knew what happens.

Yeah, it felt out of place for The Walking Dead. They should focus more on survival and group dynamics than zombies.
Season 2 Preview Just Rick killing zombies. Not what I expected, but I'm nevertheless I'm excited.
Just realized that Rick seems more frustrated and angry in the trailer than he does in the first season. He also seems to be brutally killing the zombie, rather than acting in self-defense or putting it out of it's misery. Just a thought that popped into my head while watching it.
Season 2 Preview Just Rick killing zombies. Not what I expected, but I'm nevertheless I'm excited.
Am I the only one that thinks this looks pretty bad? It looks as if the cheese-factor has been ramped up a lot more. Which is really worrying, since I thought this series was meant to be a more gritty and realistic approach to the zombie apocalypse. Don't get me wrong, I LIKED season 1, but I didn't love it. It has some big faults, the main one being Frank Darabont's inability to write interesting character drama and give depth to his characters. They all felt so flat, and I never gave a fuck about anyone other than the main character (it was a stretch even for him though). Toward the end of the season there was far too much human drama, which wouldn't be so much of a problem if it was done well. But unfortunately, It wasn't. So what I got was a zombie show with more human drama than zombies that wasn't the least bit convincing or interesting. Coupled with how cheesy that first look for season 2 is, I think this is only going to get worse. I know it's based off a comic, which I have not read, but there's still no real excuse for having such uninteresting characters and such terrible drama.
