I think it's way too early to tell how s2 is going to be.
I mean it's only a 40sec clip.
I know it's based off the comic, but I really wish Rick didn't have a family/ I wish they died. There's no sexual tension when he has a wife. IMO the series would be a lot more interesting.
I think the clip is supposed to make you think what he got into, like what is doing there alone in the forest waiting for zombies. It did for me anyways, but I haven't read any of the comics.
Why would he have spiked up hair since they established that zombies smell you rather than see you so surely wandering around with hair gel would be pretty stupid.

it's sweat

Rick is all about doing whatever it takes to protect his family, even if he has to screw over the group. That's his character, he wouldn't work without a family.
4:40 long season 2 trailer from SDCC!!!

Been ages since I read some of the comics. Who are those two people shown at the end of the trailer? Were they in the comics?

[sp]In the comic, his wife and baby are blown away with a shotgun. Obviously they've taken a different route than the comics, but this may still happen.[/sp]

Well that looks awesome. I can't get the other trailers to work. Region locked. Are they the same?
That should've been shorter, because it was just full of those kinds of one liners you see before the commercial break
That would be sweet. I also hope they skip the whole [sp]pregnant Lori[/sp] plotline if they have [sp]her and the baby die immediately.[/sp] I felt that was a cheap way to conclude that sub plot in the books.
[sp]I think that's what the CDC guy whispered into Rick's ear. That Lori is pregnant.[/sp]
[sp]I think that's what the CDC guy whispered into Rick's ear. That Lori is pregnant.[/sp]
How would he know that?
[sp]He took everyone's blood samples when they entered the facility.[/sp]
Wow. [sp]I thought he whispered something a lot more dramatic and mysterious. If you're right, then that is terribly underwhelming.[/sp]
Also, Merle better make an appearance in Season 2.

I disagree, [sp]I think that the thought alone on how hard it is to give birth in such a setting is definitely tense[/sp]
Also, Merle is such an obvious villain setup, of course he's going to be in the next season
Merle gon' exact sum good ole hick vengeance.
Hm, looks like they're going to the farm.
There may be hope for this yet.

They ruined the whole [sp]zombies in the barn because they might still be "alive"[/sp] thing by explaining that zombies lose their minds completely after turning.

Oh shit, you're right :(
[sp]if they still do it it'll just be even more obvious that those people are just not coming to terms with the deaths[/sp], the ''maybe there's still hope'' thought that was at the back of my mind when I was reading the [sp]barn scene[/sp] just wouldn't be there,
True. I always kinda thought of the barn thing as Hershel just not coming to terms with his son's death. They could still use that angle.

Yeah, fuck.
You're right.
And I don't think that the writers are clever enough to salvage it, oh well... back to the comics.
That new ~4 min trailer was awesome. Looks much better than the first season.

It wouldn't be terribly difficult. They just have to play it more as Hershel in denial.
I hope some of the survivors die off in Season 2 start

"said to potentially be staying aboard the series in some capacity"
Well that'd be good. Hate to see him completely gone from the show.
Well, if this show goes to shit, then at least I will still have the books.

yeah but frank darabont is really hit and miss, and this series looks like it's one of his misses
Well, most of Darabont's good stuff has been adaptations. I had faith he would do well with The Walking Dead.
