I remember someone posting a website dedicated to the comics where you could read most of them, though I don't want to look through 60+ pages, so does someone have that link?
I liked T-Dog fine in the first season, but he seems to be mostly causing trouble this time around. Seems just a bit lame that the huge gash in his arm that was spewing out so much blood was just nothing more than a scratch, and that piling a dead body on top of him didn't cause any infection. But he probably won't last much longer, he's still at recurring character status.
He's the only surviving filler left besides Daryl, and I was really hoping that wound in the premiere would kill him off. But noooo they had to make Daryl a more likable filler character by making him do cool things to save T-Dogg.
However, Daryl is no longer a filler. His name is in the main titles and he's been upgraded to main character. Also, do people want Shane to die because it happened early in the comics and they see it as opening the door for other characters they may like to come in? Or do people just not like his character? At this point, it seems hard not to feel bad for him. He had feelings for Lori and he's trying to come to terms with not being able to act on them anymore. He didn't leave Rick to die knowing he'd get a chance at Lori, and the "romance" may have actually started more naturally than the aftermath of Rick's return makes it seem. (Except while drunk, but even then, that seemed to cause him more shame than anything. Hence why he wants to get out. That doesn't strike me as someone that needs to get maliciously murdered.) [sp]What I may see happen, is that Rick may find out, confront Shane, and while he tries to explain Rick gets angry and starts a fight. When Shane fights back to defend himself, Carl shoots him defending Rick. Because unless they drastically change Shane's motivations, I can't see him going crazy like he does in the comics.[/sp]
Actually, Shane is supposed to [sp] Die in the next 2-3 episodes. [/sp]
Actually, Shane is supposed to [sp] Die in the next 2-3 episodes. [/sp]
But...[sp]he's actually a great character :( [/sp].
Dale is like my favorite character on the show.. I hope he doesn't die.
spoiler [sp]Herschel is in the next episode.[/sp]
Also fuck T-Dogg. I just dislike him as a character. He's the only surviving filler left besides Daryl, and I was really hoping that wound in the premiere would kill him off.
spoiler [sp]Herschel is in the next episode.[/sp]
Not really a spoiler, they showed him in the previews for it.
Saw the episode last night. I fucking loved the bit where all the walkers passed them hiding under the cars, but then most of it after that was kind of stale [sp]and I don't like T-Dog[/sp]
You can already sense the lack of Darabont in this project, the quality is decent, but it doesn't have that special atmosphere only Darabont can create. Why AMC thought it was a clever idea to fire him, I don't know. Perhaps, now the show has a reputation, they want to maximise episodes/minimise costs and don't care who gets hurt (I'm thinking Call of Duty-esque here).
the woods scenes were bland as fuck

Hopefully they prove us wrong.
so i'm guessing the year of waiting for the second season of this show wasn't exactly worth it?... [editline]22nd October 2011[/editline] at least breaking bad was worth the wait. seriously they ended that season so well i'd be content with breaking bad not having another season

Wait and see what happens next before calling it.
It seems like people seem to love it when it airs and is hated after a few days
Darabont was actually still on board at this point. He left after the first episode; all future episodes are Darabont-less.
Episode 2 tonight. My body is ready.
Episode 2 tonight. My body is ready.
For eating. :smug:

Hopefully they don't do any more god awful monologues.
when does the new episode finish?
when does the new episode finish?
10PM EST.
Actually, Shane is supposed to [sp] Die in the next 2-3 episodes. [/sp]
Source? Otherwise your an idiot, forgive me if he actually does but the makers already stated that they were [sp]keeping shane alive[/sp] for a while since they wanted to flesh out his devopment in an interview
Someone please record it for us EU people.

It doesn't even air for another 30 minutes.
Episode starting now.
Man Otis is much fatter than he was in the comic.
Dat Shane saunter
Oh lord, my heart sort of skipped a beat watching Laurie tell Carl about his father. [editline]23rd October 2011[/editline] [sp]I wonder if they are going to reveal that you can still contract the virus even without being bit.[/sp]
