Last episode was pretty damn boring, more character drama and trudging through the woods. At least next week is shaping up to be more interesting.
Why is everyone complaining that the survivors make some stupid mistakes/illogical decisions?
You do realise that if they didn't make those decisions or did the things you say, the show would be incredibly boring, right?
I mean, it's a TV show. It's not designed to be completely 100% logical, it's designed to be entertaining and suspenseful, which it does.
So quit yer whining.
He has a 360 view on top of that roof, assuming he turns his head at all, in any direction. Human vision is pretty damn long (comparable a bit to a panoramic shot)
There is literally no excuse for missing an entire horde until they were that close.
Again, the horde came out from a thick forested area less than 50 yards from where they stopped. You made it seem like they had hours to get away, at most Dale should have seen them a minute or two earlier, which still doesn't leave them enough time to do anything but exactly what they did: hide and hope for the best.

You do realize thats more half of the comics too right?
I recall several issues where barely any zombies were killed
Hate it when people blame the source material for something sucking. If the source material sucks, DON'T MAKE A TV SHOW OR MOVIE FROM IT
All this bickering is just getting annoying. If that horde hand't of came, that really intense, awesome scene on the highway wouldn't of happened. That's all I care about, it was entertaining, I don't care about these small nitpickings because otherwise it would be boring as shit.
Anyway, anybody remember this intro some guy made? I think it is miles better than the actual intro.

Sorry, it's an AMC show.
We've come to expect nigh flawless writing from them.
Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Killing, and Rubicon never really had any of these moments.
And people complaining about this show being slower if the characters made logical decisions? Have you never seen any of the aforementioned shows?
It's fucking AMC, they normally strive to make every scene in a show make sense regardless of whether or not it slows the show down.
Considering all the good crew was fired and the budget was cut I'm surprised it isn't worse

I never said the comics suck, I'm implying that if you're just here for zombies getting their brains splattered then maybe this isn't for you.
I enjoyed this episode by the way.

Well it wouldn't make a difference what reason I watch it for. I am a big fan of character drama and character development, but it's just so poorly written in TWD it's not entertaining to watch at all. The only thing left is the zombies, and they're so scarce for the majority of the episodes.

I didn't like the episode, but I did like the main cop's acting, he was good. (The fact I STILL do not know his name is a testament to how little we're made to care about the characters)
TV Rick is so different to the current comic Rick (who has evolved as a character quite a bit).
ah yes rick that's it. each of the characters has about as much depth as a cardboard cut out. if you asked me about their personality, i'd draw a blank
I'm not too sure I'll still be watching Season 3 if it continues like this. It's really is boring.
Maybe they'll get a decent budget this time
not sure why there is so much hate all of a sudden, episode 2 was really good imo
i just sorta hoped that fatass would of gotten eaten, i mean COME ON.
also, the highschool reminded me of an old CS zombie mod map...

If you think its boring, even though some heavy shit happened, then this show isn't for you.
Seriously, this is far from boring.
It's not very good but it's anything BUT boring.

IMO some zombies have more personality then some actors combined.
I hope they kill off that stupid blonde whiny bitch.
I don't see how they're whiny.

Live in a Post Apocalyptic world filled with zombies and try not to complain about it.
Everyone else seems to be doing a great job of not complaining except the whiny bitch.

Oh ok so Lori complaining about the guy being a vet WASN'T the dumbest whiny thing you've heard? They have to make do with what they got and having him try to help is better than leaving you know who dead.
Re-watching Prison Break and had a sudden realization that the doctor from the show is now in walking dead. Had no idea.

well, gee, her sister died and zombified right in her face, she was prepared to die but dale forced her to live, i think i'd be a little pissed too.
I watched the first series and have seen the first episode of the second and thought it was really good.
I thouroughly enjoyed it.
Regarding whether or not it is faithful to the comic, I don't really know. I read the graphic novel which [sp]ended with Rick shooting the other cop,[/sp] and that looks like it's coming pretty soon in the series.

That should have happened halfway through season 1. It didn't so I doubt it'll happen for quite a while if ever in the series.
[sp]And it wasn't Rick who shot Shane[/sp]

It wasn't? My apologies it's been a very long time since I read it.
